Do we know how well MvC2 sold on PSN and Live? Maybe if the numbers are high enough, they'll consider another game. Though I'd rather see a game that only has Marvel characters.

Too bad Capcom and Marvel didnt make a deal before the merge with Disney. Who knows what the heck they are going to do with all those liscenses and how they are going to divide them up

Another month over, another month of PSN sales to look at. Unsurprisingly, the biggest release of the month -- Marvel vs. Capcom 2 -- took the top spot for downloads. The starchy multiplayer matches of Fat Princess took the crown as the biggest PSN exclusive of the month and will likely keep that position once new classes are introduced. Here's the Top 10:

1. Marvel vs. Capcom 2
2. Fat Princess
3. Battlefield 1943
4. Final Fantasy VII (PS3/PSP)
5. Crystal Defenders
6. Mortal Kombat II
7. Shatter
8. Wolfenstein 3D
9. Worms
10. Metal Gear Solid (PS3/PSP)

I hope it's no the real date. They said they wanted to get the DLC out before the holiday season gets crazy, not after it's over.

Seems a bit late to have your first DLC come out 4+ months after you release the game. You'd figure they'd want to strike while the iron was still hot and people were still playing the game en masse and more likely to buy DLC.

Well it forces people to hang on to their games longer.

Fallout 3 - Released 10/28/08, first DLC 01/27/09, 91 days
Mass Effect - Released 11/20/07, first DLC 03/10/08, 111 days
Fable 2 - Released 10/21/08, first DLC 01/13/09, 84 days
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed - Released 09/16/08, first DLC 12/04/08, 79 days
GTA IV: Released 04/29/08, First DLC 02/17/09, 294 days
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 - Released 09/15/09, first DLC 12/31/09, 107 days

3 - 3 1/2 months seem to be fairly common.

It's not like you can wrap up a DLC as a gift. (Outside of games like Fallout 3)

Just sit on your game for a few months.

actually, the past 3-4 years have shown that post Christmas shopping (with the advent of gift cards) can be just as fruitful....my cousin has Live and for the past 2 years Ive given him the gift cards with the points on them

Also it may give people more incentive to buy the game for Christmas. Oh, I'll buy this game and a week later there will be DLC for it.

Quick question - after finishing the game on legendary, if i start a new legendary game are all the simulator missions available from the start to replay??

I believe so...but after beating legendary, you go straight to Wakanda where you should be able to play the simulator from there.

When I start a new Legendary game, all the Missions are locked and are only completely unlocked again for Pro and Anti once I finish the game. Though I thought once that I've seen them all unlocked when I started another Legendary game.

I really can't be sure. Could be that the game's just glitchy and they are supposed to be unlocked all the time. The game has way too many bugs.

I know but I want to unlock the wolverine costume so i have to replay as anti-reg. I don't want to have to re-play the whole game yet though so i'm thinking if i play again on legendary on a new save file and play up as far as choosing anti-reg then i don't need to go any further - i'll have all the missions in the simulator and have all abilities unlocked.

That's IF it works that way.

I think you can unlock the Wolverine costume in the simulator.

Just try to replay some of the Anti Campaign missions. Or have you tried that already?

think you have to have chosen anti-reg no?? I tried replaying the anti-reg missions but certain abilities were still locked so i assume it was the same for costumes.

Don't think so. Try it, play a map and see what happens.
