I still don't mind the 4 moves. I would've given Cable 1 powerful gun attack, maybe kept the ground slam, 1 TP and 1 TK move.

I don't mind that they have trimmed it down to four moves.

In the last game most characters had at least one dud move that I never ever used anyway. Deadpools "assassin strike" for instance, t'was crap.

The melee moves are much better in this one I think. Again, most notable with Deadpool. In the first one he didn't really use his swords for his melee moves, which baffled me.

Cable looks ok I think. In the comics his TK was limited around this time. He didn't have his natural mutant power, it was replaced with a technology based power.

Yeah I like the 4 powers myself. Makes leveling up go faster and not take so long. Has there been any hints on the patch yet? And whether the Sim Missions are separate from the character pack? Are the characters being sold separate? I'd get Magento, Cable, and BP if they are sold separate.

None yet but you most likely will have to buy Carnage for the boss fight sim. He is the last one you fight. I would say buy the characters and just don't use him.

Cable was the one character I was looking forward to in this batch of DLC but he looks pretty rubbish. People can say all they want that he didn't have his TK powers at the time, it's irrelevant. This is a game and the devs have said the DLC isn't following the constraints of the story. Plus, I may be wrong, but wasn't Magneto depowered during Civil War too? I'm leaning towards passing on the DLC at this point, it's turning out very underwhelming. Hopefully they'll do another batch after with some characters I actually care about, but i'm passed holding onto hope at this point.

He didn't have his natural abilities, but he replaced them by technological means that worked almost the same. His Infonet replaced his telepathy and the Gravimetric Sheath was used to simulate his lost telekinesis.

Somebody on HQ posted a few days ago that VV according to Newslad haven’t even thought about doing a 2nd DLC pack yet. Looks like this is the only pack we’re getting. Hopefully Nova and others who were left out show up in MUA3.

Newslad is the one saying that. Newslad is the last to know about everything. I think they have one set up but Activision has not given the okay to release till after the money. Anyway, Newslad sounds like he is on the implementing part of the team and not the initial design. Kalina said 2 exclusives(at most) will be made DLC. Hint, if 1st sells, 2nd will have either Cyke/Sentry/She Hulk

Actually, considering how Activision works, there will most likely only be ONE pack. They milk as much as they can with as little work as possible.

I've got gold in all simulators except the base one. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, I holding the bases and killing every one, but I can't get gold?! Any tips?
