Never thought i'd say this but i'm actually worreid about this game. Everything i've read so far i've been unhappy with.

I will wait to be worried or not until more of the roster is revealed, that'll be the big decision maker for me.

The roster is the deal breaker for me. If it sucks, I'll rent. If it doesn't I'll give it a buy. I could care less about the story. I just want to be able to play my fav Marvel heroes.

Nova would be really cool also.

I just hope Punisher is a playable character this time around... that was one of the few things about the first one that really disappointed me.

I have a few deal breakers for me, for instance if Namor doesn't make it this time but Elektra does, I'll be upset. She doesn't have any powers and she isn't really a fan of working well with others; she only made the cut because she has been the star of her own movie, which is a pretty crappy reason to put her in a game like this.

Namor doesn't play a role in Civil War though. So, depending on how much of CW is implemented in the game, Namor may or may not be in. Venom and Hulk only made it in because people on the M:UA VIP site asked for them in.

Civil War being the basis of this game isn't as good as people claim because it can and probably will limit the characters we can use.

I was hoping that they would use the idea of civil war (heroes ve heroes) with different characters, but I guess we'll all just have to wait and see.

since the teams are going to be based on 'Caps side' and 'Iron Man's side' right off the bat we wont be able to make as many diverse teams as in MUA 1. Sounds like we won't even be able to have Cap and Iron Man on the same team! Boo-urns to civil war, in the game and the comic! I want to make the classic Avengers team not the new Avengers garbage

I'm guessing you can recruit whoever you want but they'll probably implement this system where if you choose one person the other side takes another. It may very well end up being something like Luke Cage vs Iron Fist instead of Cap vs Iron Man. Much like how X-men Legends II was based on Age of Apocalypse but ended up with a much different storyline.

So yeah, I'd expect to see people in there that wasn't in the comic book storyline like Nova, Quasar, Namor and the like. Just to shake things up at least.

And Namor did play a role in Civil War. It's because of him that the Anti-regs almost won. "IMPERIUS REX!"

Still the best moment in that series for me.

Yeah I'd say Civil War will be more of a backdrop/general setting than a restrictive game choice.

PS, so I was hoping that NPC's would make up the leaders of the two opposing sides, so as not to prevent us from using whoever we want on each side (like Cap and Ironman).
They could have Nick Fury as the anti-reg leader and Val Cooper as the Pro-reg (if they wanted to keep it like it was in the comics) or if they wanted to switch it up, they could do Nick Fury and SHEILD as pro-reg and someone like Prof. X as anti-reg.


But who cares, I'm stoked we are finally going to hear/see something ANYTHING about this game, hooray!

But on the other hand, cinematics have to be taken into account so I doubt that they're just going to consist of Nick and Val talking to the player through the screen. Cap and Iron Man among others who played important roles just may play those same roles in the game as well. Hell, there may be very little about the line-up in the game that's changeable...I dunno...We're really going to have to wait and see on this one. I know I'm excited.

Here's an idea. What if the game is similar to a sports game? It comes with a set line-up similar to the teams in real life (in this case the comics) and the cinematics will match. It's just that you'll be able to trade whoever you want whenever you want and the story will pick up the slack with something generic like "Stature has registered" or "Spider-man has left the registration." Sure the cinematics won't change but they didn't change in the last game either and I know I didn't play Captain America, Thor, Wolverine, and Spider-man for the entire game. Hell it was the Fantastic Four that saved the day in my book.
