Just like Colossus, Wolverine, Storm, and Iceman? Cuz they've ben in all 3 as well, but no one *****es and moans why they should be out. Nightcrawler is an incredibly interesting character, it just sucks that Deadpool can teleport, therefore taking everything unique about Nightcrawler but his looks(and I might lose nerd points, but I never saw Deadpool teleport in the comics, unless he bodyslid with Nathan, did they just add that for the game?).

really? I've seen people want them out. Most people accept Wolverine will be in all game, but the other 3 get their complaints. I love Iceman and Colossus but would rather see them stay out and other X-men used. Never cared for Storm so I definetly want her out

she should have much stronger powers, they could balance it out by limiting her melee abilities. Becuase honestly, Storm should be flying around and spamming lighnintng and wind moves, that's the way she does it.

Cyclops should be right there alogside Wolverine and Storm representing the X-men in every game. Everybody else is fair game to me but I'd like Beast, Angel, Jean Grey, and Iceman to be the default X-men. If not them then the Astonishing X-men line-up.

You guys complaining about Storm should give it up, I'm pretty sure she's confirmed for the game. She was in the concept art from GI.

I dont think anyone here has complained about whether she will be in the game or not bc it was confirmed months ago. Thats common knowledge. People here just would rather the developers had picked different X-men characters this time around instead of ones that have been in all the games

Well clearly Wolverine and Storm are in..
I feel like Iceman and Colossus are pointless when characters like The Thing and HUlk are available- aside from the obvious fanboy need. aha.
BUT I am a huge fanboy myself..
and as much as i want PHOENIX in this game -

im kinda hoping for EMMA FROST. i mean, the diamond form and telepathy could be cool! Combos between her and characters with power blasts could be awsome...

and this is why they need to resurrect the XML series. With a game like MUA, the slots for X-men are so limited as it sucks that these 3 tend to always be the default characters with maybe 1 or 2 others joining them. At least with XML, X-fans have less to worry about as thats more representative of the line. I sure hope they consider doing XML3 when this game is done. Its been too long since the last game

She kind of was a letdown in XML1, but she could be alot more interesting now considering the modders have done her better justice than the actual developers did

I'm wondering what kinds of codes and unlockables will be in the game. I think they should implement the following:

-What if? Mode (So when you play the game again certain things are different, like Elektra might only have ONE costume and that's the Skrull Elektra one..And dialogue would be different stuff like that)
-World War Hulk, you're full stat Hulk with 200% HP and you have to fight in a level where the enemies are all full stat heroes at 75% HP and they come out at you in groups of two or four
-Character Hate (This mode would allow you to switch out the enemy models for a model of your choice and pick the boss, but you can only do it with one level at a time, the whole game wouldn't just change over)

Man, I've been reading some pretty amazing rumors lately, I almost hate to say for fear of jinxing it, but I just heard that after all of the unlockable characters, the roster will be close to 40.
The guy who posted this has been right about tips regarding this title before.
I want to believe, but I am just so dang skeptical.
It'd be nice, though, reeeeeal nice.

40 each with 4 alternate costumes? It's like being a kid again and having the action figures of all your favorite characters in your favorite costumes all together.

40 is not going to happen. How could they have almost as big amount of unlockable characters as regulars?

40 seems unlikely, but not unreasonable. The Marvel Universe is just massive. People will want new characters to play with in each game, but they also want to keep the old ones. You can't get rid of characters like Spider-Man, Captain America and most of the Avengers or the entire Fantastic Four, in order to make room for new characters. Otherwise people will scream bloody ****ing murder.

So the roster grows. Having 30-40 characters wouldn't be far fetched. But I highly doubt it.
