maybe they just want surprises this time? i dunno
You mean 20 weeks?Activision's marketing is pretty crappy for WOS...so I expect M:UA 2 to be just as bad (if not worse).
The game comes out in 20 days, we haven't gotten much of ANY information that's not rehash or a spoiler for the plot.
Activsion's marketing plan has been confirmed by the moderators of WOS's website to be geared towards casual and NOT hardcore. For hardcore is a very small demographic in the video game world (which is true). Activision really doesn't care if hardcore players don't buy their game...they want it to sell to the kiddies and people who just happen to stumble upon it.
Since they probably won't change this any time soon, M:UA 2 will suffer the same fate as WOS as far as marketing goes. Expect a few videos that spoil a lot of the story, don't talk about the important stuff, and blab on and on about Fusion.
Oh, and you have Vicarious Visions...which doesn't help things at all. =/
I hope its not as expansive as MUA. I felt that game tried to be bigger than it should have been and lost focusI'm looking forward to see the new story. MUA's was a little hollow.

I know. They tried to put too much into one game. They got overly ambitious so there wasn't one set atmosphere. It was all over the place. I mean there's a reason you don't see Ghost Rider in X-men or Spider-man hanging out in Asgard. Some things just...don't work.
I wish Marvel would make a CGI movie. The graphics in MUA are more than good enough. We've had Square-Enix making Advent Children, Capcom is going to release Resident Evil: Degeneration, Marvel should make a CGI movie as well.
