I agree, how about more character information, story plot, and online information? Something

well we do know the plot, it's civil war and secret war based... and we know about several characters. just be patient antsy nancy.

No, the storyline is not clear. In the actual Civil War Cap was on one side and Ironman was on the other. Heros chose sides whether they wanted to register or not and that started the war.

In the Secret War the Heroes were shiped off to the Beyonders world to fight the ultimate war between good and evil.

In anything I can get my hands on (online or not) clips show Cap and Ironman on the same side. There is no Beyonder (that I can see or hear about).

So isn't that what this Board is for, to ask questions and speculate on what should happen?

1) i said based, the game is indeed being based off civil war... many aspects of the story are in the game, thats already been in one of the game magazine articles. like MUA1 it will be loosely based off a series of stories

2) the secret war in which i mentioned was the big event that came before the civil war... NICK FURY's secret war, where he essentially rallied up the heroes to do a mission in which they were not aware of them doing. he used them.

3) speculation is that you choose throughout the game, and build your side of civil war... u can have ironman and cap on the same side if you want.

This is a different Secret War story, "Nick Fury's Secret War" is the one where he amassed a team of heroes to go off to Latveria to battle a group of supervillains but secretly was trying to overthrow the country's PM who was funding the villains

and the CW idea is being used in the game, even though we don't know how closely. Cap and Ironman have already been rumored (in a picture caption from the GI article) that they would be on opposing sides.
so basically
still
unfortunately
we'll just have to wait and see

It should be noted that Fury's Secret War contributed to the Civil War hostilities. When the truth about Fury's using superhumans as off-the-books covert operatives came out, it contributed to the public outcry against superheroes being totally without oversight, which in turn contributed to support for the registration act. I could see Secret War being used as a kind of prologue in the game.

hopefully that's what they'll do
after SW we really knew just how wrong Cap and Sue thought Fury was for what had asked them to do and it would make for a nice transition for the game to get into the whole CW storyline

In anticipation for MUA2 I started playing MUA again and hope to try an beat it on hard and build up my guys stats to try and do those damn comic book missions

I just beat the game on Hard. I'm considering doing it again on Normal, but with only 2 characters.

I've never played it with the DLC, or even on a next-gen system. I played it right when it first came out on my PS2, long before I ever bought a 360. I guess I ought to play it again with all the next-gen bells and whistles, plus the Hulk and Hawkeye and all of them.

I like all the DLC characters except Venom. Hawkeye, Sabretooth & Cyclops are the best, IMO.

Extra characters aside, its the same exact game on the PS3/360. The only difference is that those have higher res characters and advanced lighting to make it prettier. I bought it for both the PS2 and PS3 and it wasnt much different

Wow i hope they plan on releasing it on time. Its only 3 months away. It is still coming out in March right?

I never heard about a specific month but if thats the case Id expect it to be delayed as we've heard nothing other then 1 article in Game Informer about the details

I figured. But the prettier graphics, extra characters, and the fact that I haven't played it for a year or two should make it feel new enough to me.

The only problem I had with MUA was that after beating the game, you couldn't start over with the experience you gained in the previous game, like you could in X-Men Legends. Starting every game over at level 1: lame.

Um... dude. You could start a new game with your old game stats. I think that's the only way to play Hard mode.

Who else here hope's that there's no f***ing underwater levels? Those were such a pain in the arse.:cmad:

You're telling me that this game has been out for 2 or 3 years, and I've only played through it once for NO REASON?

...dammit.

Pop it in again and try starting in Hard Mode. It'll ask you if you want to use previous save data. You'll start with your characters at high levels, and you keep whatever stuff you unlocked/collected. If you've got the Xbox360 version, download extra characters.

I need to buy this (MuA) again. I was halfway through my PS3 run when I traded it in a few months ago.

Yeah, the underwater levels sucked a lot. If there is an underwater level in this game, I hope it's very, very short.
