most likely would never happen bc of the drastic mechanics between each character. They have to create an environment that is balanced to accomadate fliers like Iron Man, a wallcrawler/swinger like Spidey and a destructive force like Hulk among the various other types of characters. Not gonna happen when you have 4 player game confined to one screen. You are going to have to play a Spidey , Iron man, Hulk, etc.... game to get a more accurate feelI want a game where the characters would be finally be true to themselves. Spider-Man should play like he did in SM2-3, Hulk should play like Hulk Ultimate Destruction, Iron should play like in the upcoming 2nd game, etc. Now throw them into a giant world in the scale of GTA and watch the awesomeness never end. But a developing game like that would probably be way too costly.
It wouldn't even have to really be that big or be free roaming. Just arenas large enough so you could swing, fly or jump a couple blocks.
Just imagine a Ultimate Alliance game like this.

Just a little promotional cartoon Marvel made during the buildup to Iron Man and the Hulk's movies.
I'm still confused as to why EA decided they needed extra characters besides the Marvel ones for Rise of the Imperfects.![]()

I love X-men Next Dimension. It was a pretty solid fighter. I repurchased it last year from Ebay and still had fun with it. My main complaint were those long loading times but the actual gameplay was funyeah, it was definitely fun
and a good marvel fighting game is hard to find
(although I actually really did like X-Men:Next Dimension)
but still
they could have/should have just stuck with Marvel characters
and that also applies to Nanite Nick Fury in MUA2![]()
