Marvel Universe wave 1, reviews and thoughs

Once I find all my cap figures I'll probably make that swap. They're just avoiding me right now.

So thats what you use as your excuse to buy 6" figures over 3 3/4" figures???

bigger, more detailed, and i dunno, 6inch figs with an amazing sculpt just seem more adult to me. if you look at all collector lines, they've (other then star wars) have always been 6-7 inches.

larger figs mean more detail and more articulation. which i care about most (obviously for display purposes)

I think Hasbro filtered "wide variety, high numbers, average sculpt, average articulation" as what fans wanted.

indeed. the biggest thing hasbro learned is fans will buy anything, and all. so the 3 3/4 line puts out more and makes them more money

I'd firmly stand by my opinion that the 25th Joes have better sculpts and just about as much articulation as some of the bull**** MLs of recent.

Like Ive said, I've seen these all over Wal-Marts and Zellers here in Canada ...now either Bullseye is INCREDIBLLY short packed or he isn't even being offered in our wave 1 sets.

We're getting revision 1 wave 1 cases in retail stores. That means no Bullseye and no Firey Human Torch.

Yeah, he ain't bad. I keep watching HTS for them to pop up. 1 week with no car= no hunting. Better for my wallet, anyways.

Hopefully once I get to make a few rounds today I find some. I'm anxious to score a few

Keep an eye out for Wolvie, Iron Man, Ronin, and Iron Fist for me, will ya?

Just noticed that the Black Panther I bought has two right biceps. :csad: But I really don't care that much, as I've gotten used to having that problem with my DCUC figures, so I'm pretty much indifferent to it at this point.

Plus, he's currently holding Obi-Wan's lightsaber and looks completely badass doing so.

Yeah, same here. My blue suit Supes has two right calves. Its not extremely noticeable though and doesn't hinder the fig from standing at all.

BTW, do you have any spare Food Fighters for "PROJECT: REBIRTH"???

Spare? Not really. I gave you my spares. Don't you still have them?

My food fighter collection is currently asking to be dug out, though.

No. I let my son play with the 2-3 I got from you so they were in his toybox. Which of course was filled with yummy sea water once we came back home after the hurricane. Hence no more Food Fighters over here.

Kinda. When you tally it all up between what you have left that can fit in a few boxes and trashbags versus the huge mountain outside of whats damaged it can bring a tear to your eye. Especially when a bunch of the stuff belonged to your kids.

If you need 'em, I'll dig 'em out so you can borrow 'em. What do you need them for?
