Marvel vs. Capcom 3

Surely Blade would do like, extra damage against the many vampire characters on the roster.....wait....

Blade would be pretty awesome to have in the game. i'm actually kind of surprised he wasn't in the lineup to begin with.

What would Blade bring to the table?

He's got a similar fighting style to two other, more popular characters.

He's currently not in anything, or at least not a headline act.

Most of his popularity came from the movies, which aren't being made any more.

Sword/Gun users: Deadpool, Dante, and Taskmaster. Blade would have been boring and reduntant.

The only black character I think would actually add something is Black Panther.

It's already been mentioned why Blade is redundant. Luke Cage would probably just be another generic brawler/grappler. We already have a few of those character. The only thing unique thing I see about Luke is his chains. War Machine.......maybe if they were to give him a new moveset, but these are the same people who for some odd reason thought Ghost Rider needed to be on his bike the whole time and then later on claimed he was "too punchy."

In his reversal hyper, he slashes you a bunch with his sword and then shoots you in the back of the head with a gun...so yea, he counts.

With this voting on characters thing, are they actually going to have some new characters to download in the future or is it ideas for a new game down the road?

Kind of depressed Samanoske didn't make the top 20 for Capcom. That said, some of my favorite Marvel Characters made the top 20 there so I'm pleased. Guys like Ghost Rider, Daredevil, Dr. Strange and Juggernaut make me happy.

The mods said they are going to try and give the list to Capcom but this doesnt mean anything. This list is just the fans choices for who should be included in the game. Maybe Capcom will look at it, maybe they wont.

Are you kidding? Wolvie gets left by the wayside these days compared to people like Deadpool. DP is just the new go to fan favourite. Us DP fans love it obviously, but wait until 5 years from now when 12 yr olds are going 'Yay, Deadpool ftw! Chimichanga chimichanga!.........What's a chimichanga?'. I've already witnessed this happening. In my opinion DP should stay far away from the mainstream, and if he's in a game, it should be a DP game :P
