Marvel vs. Capcom 3

I don't use him at all.

But I believe sentinel is a good teammate for him.

What's a good team for Zero?

Zero would probably be best paired with someone who can assist with a beam of some sort or other long range projectile.

Iron Man, Sentinel, or Trish would probably be your best bets.

Their job isn't to expose characters, it's to make money via DLC, adding in obscure characters isn't the way to go about it. A crossover game isn't the place to introduce fans to obscure characters.
Sure it is, as much as it's the job of a cartoon or anything else that reaches a far wider audience than comics. I'm sure plenty of people voting for Carnage learned about him via the Maximum Carnage game, just as I'm sure plenty more people might become interested in X-23 via this game. It's all about the balance between less known characters and big stars. Package them together as a pack and Capcom meets its sales needs while boosting recognition of some of Marvel's other characters, which helps Marvel--another party who's making money off this game, if you'll recall.

Logic. It's the best thing in the damn world and so many people miss out on it.

The idea that the MvC series isn't already pretty well known for embracing obscure characters is puzzling to me. Capcom's interested in making money, yes, but it's also apparently interested in weirdos like Shuma Gorath and MODOK.

Yep. Obviously these characters aren't crazy obscure if some of them are getting into Capcom's Top 50 anyways.

I mean Howard was what in the early 20's? And all he's known for by most people is a ****** LucasFilms adaption.

I hate how people can throw the word ''obscure" around just because THEY don't know the character.

Some of 'em are already in the game, technically. We all know Iron Fist [blackout]whups Ryu's ass in that tournament[/blackout] in one ending; all I'm asking for is the opportunity to actually make that happen myself. :awesome:

Nightcrawler is in Trish's ending. Silver Surfer is in Zero's ending. Kingpin's in Chun Li's. Alot of people with potential show up in other character's endings.

I think Tron, MODOK, Deadpool & Dante have the best endings.

Tron's ending is the best. It's been proven, by science.

Tron's just made me want Megaman Legends 3 even sooner. The humor in that ending was right up those games alley.

Yea if you bundle them together thats one thing, but putting a pack of Nova and like characters isnt doing them any favors even though a very small, vocal minority keep whining about it and if they continue with the singular DLC characters, that wont be an option. They dont need to waste resources on an obscure character when Venom and Carnage will make more money and the majority of fans want those characters.

Plus the fans dont want them. They want Venom, Gambit, Ghost Rider, Cyclops, Psylocke, Ms, Marvel etc.

Yeah, but like I said, the fans would also vote Wolverine into a second slot if they could because he's familiar and comfortable. Too much of their input would make the game incredibly boring and predictable. Also, if they don't know about Nova, how would they want him, regardless of how good he is?

i'm dreading trying to beat the game with phoenix
Why? She's the easiest person to defeat Galactus with as long as you get her in DP mode, which isnt hard considerng its very easy to build up the hyper meter on him

You guys know the "Marvel Super Heroes" game by Capcom that came out in the 90's?

What if they were to do an update?

Which villians and heroes do you want to appear should it happen?

So according those latest polls, tentative DLCs will be

Marvel:
Gambit
Venom
Ghost Rider
Cyclops
Psylocke

Capcom:
Mega Man X
Phoenix Wright
Frank West
Virgil
Captain Commando

I know Strider and Gene were actually higher on the Capcom poll, but I'm not expecting either to get in because of the rights issues so they'll be a double longshot.

Believe me, I would've loved to have seen Daredevil, Nightcrawler, Batsu, Ruby Heart, Archangel, Bishop, Fokker, and Gallon added to the roster, but fans in general are going to vote for the popular characters especially the ones who didn't make the roster the first time around.

They can over look those. That poll didn't guarantee they were DLC.

Unfortunately, this little tidbit of information will be ignored by around 90% of fans, and by the time DLC rolls around and some don't make it, expect "Grrr, y iz Crapcom so DUMB!!! THey lied to da fans!!!"

I think Strider was the only one that had licensing issues. Gene didn't get in because God Hand sold poorly. Never played it myself, but I've seen vids on youtube and he looks like he'd fit right in.

Strider didn't have licensing issues, his company confirmed so. They even said they wanted him in it.

I also doubt we'd get Captain Commando, Viper is a spiritual successor to him.
