I always did find that funny that if a white man made a black joke, there would be some form of outrage to it.

I guess I'm glad I live in France, and have to deal with Muslim jokes.

They're all the same jokes, people just substitute the minority of the region.
I have heard the exact same jokes told to me about "polacks" "chavs" Gypsies" "blacks" "cockneys" "redencks" etc.
In truth when i lived over there i was surprised how racist it is. Its just more subtle, less black and white.
On a related point, anyone ever notice that Jeff Foxworthy and Chris Rock tell some of the exact same jokes, the only difference being chris rocks says nigg*rs and Foxworthy says rednecks?
For example "You can't give a __________ money"

I wonder if it's possible for black people to be racist against other black people? EXAMPLE: I was in the mall one late night (specifically near a theatre when a movie starring some young R&B star was being released) and the joint was overrun with with like a hundred black teens...all them acting a god-damn FOOL. They were running around, jumping on tables, fist-fighting and everything. All the white folks there looked terrifed. Resturants closed their gates early. And you know what? I felt totally embarrassed to be a black man. I actually hated their behavior and thought they behaved like Neanderthals.

Does that make me racist against other black people? Because my reaction was based completely on their culture because none of them were acting like they had home-training...which might be a cultural issue.

It just makes you more civilized and more trained then those crazy kids. Though if you had told them something, they probbaly would of said "your acting like a white guy" .

You're racist only if you hate an entire "race" for really dumb reasons.

Like if you said you hated black people because they steal things. It's an unfounded reason to hate EVERYONE of that race.

Actually it goes baclk a long long time. Africans are often racist against other tribes, field slaves often hated house slaves, dark skinned blacks have often hated "high yellow" blacks.
Just like the english vs the irish, or french against germans.

Actually I don't get why WW2 gave the french the reps of being wimps, given what the resistance whent through. Its what they've done since hten that made y'all wimps. I honestly think that was the last generation of french cyrano would have recognized.

o i've seen it.. but theres different types of black people as much as theres different types of white...

for instance i cant stand ignorant bigote white people... but i can't stand disrespectful or ignorant black people either... (for example a movie theater i go to.. theres always a large group of black people who don't seem to respect the fact others are trying to watch a movie... and actually try to speak above the movie...) i dont want that to sound like a racist comment because i know alot of black people are not like that.. but there are alot to that seem to carry this kinda persona that comes off as " i can do what i want cuz you're people owe us" which really pisses people off...
I was on a plane once and i sat next to a woman who got on a race issue.. she said her bf was black, and they both couldnt stand going to a restraunt (near where i live too) because the waiters act like there doing you a favor by serving them... and she stated that her bf even says he hates those kind of black people... sooo its not so much being racist.. in situations like these.. but people getting annoyed and pissed at others who seem to not respect the people around them, regardless of color

i just think they want to remain neutral and at peace, theres nothing wrong with that.. hell during WWII we had the same stance... until we were bombed at pearl harbor... but i know the war was going on i think at least a year bf the US joined

Especially with a history of successful warfare, we still got the typecast. But it's fine. Who needs to fight a war, when you can trick the American's into fighting it FOR you? Brains over brawn. For the Vietnam War, we had the least casualties.

We generally don't want to be. It's not really our place to tell others what to do and what they can have if there's no problem as it stands.

And we definitely don't think we should be one of the like five developed nations invading a country that doesn't have a military. I really don't see why France was hated for detesting it, either.

The black kids that like Lightning mentioned are basically the same way white people feel about the white trash redneck types that frequent their places of entertainment. Not every white person acts like Larry the Cable Guy, not every black person acts like Tyrone Biggums...though a lot of people seem to think we all do act like the latter, go figure.

I think that Hollywood and Marvel Studios have to portray these characters a little better. I'd love to see a Black Panther Movie if he had a major villian besides the Ulysses guy that stole his vibranuim. They need a villain that can actually do some damage to Panther personally.

agreed... but unfortuneatly. we all judge in our nature that those who make themselves most obvious tend to define the group... (ex... when you see an asian 2nd guess a red light and stop in the middle of the intersection and decide to go in reverse stopping traffic (seen that 3 or 4 times in LA... all asians lol), or when you see alot of "loud black people" or "ignorant white trash" or "flaming" gay guys... what you see more.. what doesnt go "un noticed" of everyday life... ALWAYS sets the stereotype

Klaw can create attacks via sound, and his body has basically become one with the sound, hence his disturbing facial features. If that's not a good supervillain for a movie I don't know who is. Add that BP doesn't have any superpowers except for his own mental and physical prowess above other men, and it should be some good fight scenes.

They got the reputation because of not engaging the germans. They basically allowed the germans to march in and take the country without putting up a fight. Then once they were occupied the resistance movement started up. Pretty simple if you actually know anything about french history

Agreed. But it was slightly odd, because when I was in America, I saw minorities that flat out hated white people just because they were white, where white people didn't really seem to hate anybody, they just kind of more or less stuck to their own. Most likely because they didn't want to be yelled at only because they're white. Kind of a vicious cycle.

On the surface it may seem that way but honestly these days white racism is secretive thing....It's still there and strong as ever, it's just no boldly displayed unless some specific hate group is involved. Here in the states there have been photos leaked of seceret parties being held during MLK day and Black history month where white college students dress up in Black face as African American Stereotypes, and there's been a rise of KKK activity in recent years.....Black Americans are just more vocal and open with their racism (in some ways) than White Americans are.

I do. The armed forces were orderd to stand down. Much of the navy went to britain and AMerica illegally in order to fight back later. The resistance actually formed as the germans were on their way in. It was the eladers who were cowards at the time. It wasn't untill afterwards that most of the people became cowarda as well.
