Yeah I remember when he could actually be knocked unconscious, and it took time for him to heal...

I remember the storyline where he and Punisher met up for the first time in the jungles of Africa. He wanted information out of a punk and he was stabed in between the rib cage. He shook it off and did his own thing to get info, but in his internal monologue he said it would take around an hour or so for the wounds to fully heal. I actually miss those days, I mean now a NUCLEAR EXPLOSION won't kill him? Ugh...I love Logan and all but this is crap...

About the nuke, I just realized this has happened twice, and in one he didn't even lose his flesh. In that Venom min (the rip off of the thing one that never really finished?) he was hit with a nuke and all the damage he suffered was a torn tank top and some burns, then the infamous Nitro incident. :/

I haven't read Ultimate in years, has Logan changed any?

I haven't read Ultimate X-Men since the beginning of Kirkman's run. Last I checked, Ult. Cyke was a sexually repressed drill sergeant who got dropped down a hole by Logan that one time.

I must be the only one that likes Cyclops. He has to be the stoic guy since he's had to take the mantle so many times.

Stoicism doesn't have anything to do with why I don't like him. The fact that he's sliding toward a point where he's no better than the "evil" mutants he tries to protect people from does.

Well,... Personally,.. If someone had sense and did a movie on Priests Runs,.. (The Client - for the Black Panther.), and A "Cage" film based on the "Original" Origin that had a sequel that introduced IronFist,.. and a third movie that introduced the Heroes for Hire Inc with all 15 or twenty members including a sidebar with NightWing Restorations?

I would be able to Die happy.

I'm trying to figure out exactly how Cyclops is better than Magneto on an average day. He's appointed himself the leader of the entire mutant race. He's starting his own army. He sends some of his team on missions to kill off members of anti-mutant groups. If he sends X-Force to assassinate the dude who's campaigning for government control of mutant breeding, that's pretty much it for him.

I think a 'Cage' film could be very good...you can get a socially responsible story with some awesome action sequences...and Iron Fist in the sequel

Well he's not quite the hypocrite magneto is considering mags was an actual jew during the holocaust and then decided to adopt those cool nazi ways. But close.

Well, it's not like Magneto is the first guy to adopt the ways of those he hates. Think of all those abused kids who grow up to abuse their kids.

He'd be the first holocaust survivor nazi in history. Abuse is one thing, being a victim of genocide seems to inspire those that survived it to fight against it ever happening again with the exception of erik "the nazi's were pretty cool and I want to be like them when I grow up" lesher.

Just saying mags is still a bit more of a *****e bag than scott.

Well, that is true. But I still liked him more as the headmaster of Xavier's school in New Mutants than I do Scott right now.

well this is a roundtable soo...

i actually dug the Blue Marvel ( i dont think alot of people read it though) i like Namor saying you let them tell you to retire you should have fought that &^%$#). it was full of cliches, but i truly loved that he punched the Sentry into space( to bad he survived).it was cool to see an African American on that power level. i really hope Marvel doesn't forget about him and we never see him again.
also as much as that War Machine book blows! for Ares to call Rodney his champion. that was hella tight!!

yeah it a pretty good read. if you guys get a chance you should pick it up. the villain was totally bull&^%$# (like all of the avengers couldn't beat dude), but the politics of it all was freakin cool.The govt being scared that a black person with all that power would cause a race panic. Pez JFK asks him to step down and the govt sends blondie girl to get close to him.They fall in love and of course he finds out and is royally pissed!!like i said i hope marvel integrates him into it universe and not cast dude away to the Dark dimension with the nameless ones
by the way Corp that dude was freakin cool on TMNT. i was hoping that cat would get a spinoff series

i just said that's where i dont want him to wind up at. you know in limbo. at the end,his babe designed him a new outfit without a mask. Thank god that freaking helmet thing was dumb and dude just flew away to parts unknown.

it was cool cause during the series dude was waxing all philosophical with the watcher... hehe you wont see Luke Cage doing that.

Now all we need is to bribe Priest and hire a good Director / Producer,.. and get a small amount of movie making money - just enough to do it right,... maybe hire twenty comic geeks to keep the movies within continuity,....
