Sarcasm, mother****ers! Do you speak it!?
I do not think that having ladders in a game qualifies it for "game of the year".
Though I agree, it's between this and Skyrim. If ME3 does come out this year. I have my doubts.
Did Tali's loyalty mission today and she mentioned some of the Quarian brass were putting her name forward as her father's replacement on the admiralty board. I wonder if ME3 will have her as one of the high ranking muckety mucks in the flotilla?
Unless she got exiled.![]()
>.< I didn't even think about that. I renegaded my way through those assclowns and got her exonerated.
When I played threw with my femShep, I didn't have enough points. So I agreed to hide the information of her father's guilt from the council and she got exiled.![]()
Between ME3, Skyrim and Uncharted 3, I don't know which I would choose as "Game of the Year".
No one does story telling, cinematics and voice work like Uncharted. It'll take GOTY, again.
Personally, I take Uncharted 3 out of the running because based on what I've seen so far, it just looks like more Uncharted. Which is a great thing, I love Uncharted and I'll gladly take more of it. But the competition is way too hot this year for "just" another Uncharted to win again.
And when I say "the competition is hot" I don't just mean "yo, there are a lot of good games this year", I mean there are several sequels coming out, Mass Effect 3* and Skyrim being two of them, that at least appear as though the developers are taking it to a whole new level with a lot of changes, additions, and improvements being implemented. They're not just doing the same thing again with a different setting or story.
And that doesn't even take totally new games like L.A. Noire into account.
I'm not bagging on Uncharted. Not at all. For all I know, Uncharted 3 could bring a lot to the table that I'm unaware of at the moment. But for now, my sense is that it's going to be a very good, but very "paint by numbers" kind of sequel. And if anything, the fact that I think Uncharted might not be "good enough" for GOTY is very telling of just what an embarrassment of riches this year is for gamers.
*Though as I said before, I doubt ME3 will make it out this year.
So one bad experience turned you off from an old that has had either one or two games after it improve upon everything?
Can't wait to have Kaidan back for my Female shep, and Liara back for my main shep. Somewhere I read Captain Anderson is a part of the squad, maybe only on Earth? and I wonder if Sanders is the guy from the Trailer?

E Man said:*cough* Gears of War 3.

Hey man, i'm with you. I LOVE the Gears franchise, and I never understood how much flack those games seem to get on the Hype.
