Here's the finished sketch of one of Santa's Toy-Monster's hands.

In the hand alone, there are some filler toys in addition to some 40-ish real toys I've referenced.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Some sections of the monster won't be as detailed (this hand is more in the foreground), but the last 10 spots I filled required googling for ideas... so if you have faves from your childhood, let me know!

Well, i've been plugging along on this toy monster piece whenever i have some time...

I made a rule that I had to have the arm done by the end of this weekend, just to force myself to make progress on this piece so it will be done in time for xmas...

Here is the toy mosnter's arm with some work on the color.

I may tweak it a bit but it's getting close to how i want it.

Spent a LOT of time today on sketching out the toy monster's head. I think there's close to 45 toys included so far.

I may spend some more time tomorrow... I really need to push to make progress.

I started on his head yesterday, and I've added 52 toys to his head so far.

Added another 10 toys and then started filling in space with boxes and ball shapes.

Wanted to have the head sketched in complete by the end of the day, but it didn't happen.

There's always next weekend I guess.

My goal is to get the flat color version done today... We'll see.
