also, if Polar Bears remind you of coke.. why not put a coke bottle with it.. and a scarf that says coke on it?
Scrooge looks much better, but I still don't think the dogs look right in the image. They look old, and like they're slowly crawling up the stairs, not rambunctious and about to mess up a house and ruin a Christmas feast.
I agree on the dogs. I'm running out of time but if I have the ability to circle back and redo them before I need to send out my Christmas card I'll definitely do it. As always thanks for the comments.
you're very welcome!
Your art reminds me a little bit of the art inside of Melt restaurant in Columbus, OH. lots of pop culture fun-ness. I always enjoy looking at it.
Ha! I'm from Columbus... I've never been to Melt, but I almost ate there a few weeks back. I'll have to check it out.
Every year I draw a card design to send out to my colleagues, friends, and family. My theme this year is a huge mash-up of characters from Christmas-themed movies and TV specials. I also threw in some random characters from movies with scenes set during Christmas time, just to keep things interesting... And there may be some Breaking Bad references... In hindsight, I may have over-estimated Breaking Bads relevance to Christmas.
On a more serious note, Id like to wish you and your loved ones a happy holiday season! I hope you make it through all of your travels safely and that 2014 brings you only the best!

The colors and composition on this are great! Revisiting some of your work, I think it would look great in a picture book. Something with limited text like a Where's Waldo type. I think your work is strongest when you crowd the strange and have the characters all looking busy and full of movement.
