I dunno if I'm seeing this right but Rogue's hair looks great. And I like that Cyc's beam is still 'on' even though he's pretty much K.O.

Awesome, it looks really great. The one thing I would work on if I were you is his right hand. His facial expression looks like he's angry to be getting his ass kicked, so make it into a fist maybe?

Its looking awesome. Progressing well already. As long as the 'TBD' xman isn't Colossus it should be awesome ; )

Thanks for all the kind words... They are motivating me to not jump ship on this time consuming pic.

Here's the latest update... I did some damage to the uniforms, and worked a bit on the background....

I'm still have LOADS to do on the this cause the background isn't even close to being done, I have to work on Cyc and Iceman's beams, all the characters need to be shaded, face work on Jean and Rogue... the list goes on.

just a suggestion, but i think a nice touch would be a lil blood at the corner of cyke's mouth or something.

i mean, a punch by juggy sure would pack a wallop, so some blood might furter emphasize that.

That's coming along quite nicely

A couple of crits though, Juggy's hand just doesn't look quite right. Jean's looks rather posed. All the other X-men are in fairly dynamic poses, a sense of movement but Jean is just sitting on the ground. I get some of the reason behind this, but someting a little more dynamic might work a little better IMO.

Yeah... I was trying to think of a way to make it look like that rather than that she was lifting him and offering him up to juggernaut... and i couldn't. I did, howerver flip her around, and hopefully with the addition of the rocks, she fits in better.

Juggy's hand: I scrapped the hand that was punching Cyc... the other will be covered partially with Iceman's blast.

Jean's pose: She is an issue because she was an after thought, but I flipped her so her back is to a wall... HOPEFULLY making it look slightly less posed, but to be honest... She is posing. I does look a bit silly, but I just don't have it in me to start over on her from scratch. Having said that, I more than agree with the critisim!

So here's an update that take into consideration a lot of comments I've been getting...

I scrapped Juggernaut's punching fist, and Cyc's hand. They'll be reworked later.

I flipped Jean, and put her back to a wall... I REALLY agree she looks posed and doesn't look the least bit dynamic, but I'll 'claim' she's the least dynamic of the X-men... because I'm too darn lazy to fix her the right way.

I also added the corner to the wall (which took a while and now is kinda covered by Jean) and some wall chunks Jean is lifting.

All the powers (Jean's, Cyc's, and Iceman's) are just place holders... I'll probably finalize those last.

Added a bit of detailing to Juggernaut, and made way for his face.

Also threw in a bit of blood, but there will be a bit more of that to come.

Anyway, here's the current version...
