What it is pops.

What the deely son?

Jus curious, you into NFL or basketball at all?
I'm an NFL cat. Not that I don't enjoy basketball, but I fell out of the love with the sport overall after the greats (Isaiah Thompson, Majic Johnson, Michael Jordan, Bryd, etc.,) all dissapeared off the scene. Now it's just something I catch when there's nothing else to watch.

But I'm a football fanatic though...love to play the sport also.

and who's hotter a young Whoopi from like Burgler or Wanda Sykes now:awesome:...seriously, it's a test.

Ugh. I guess I'll take Wanda Sykes. Whoopi is unbelievably talented and lovable (she's my favorite female comedian of all time) but in terms of looks, even when she was a younger woman she was hit. I'll never forget "The Color Purple": "You sho iz uglay girl!"

From Marx:

What do you think about the fascination some people have with your nipples?

:funny:

Ya know, I really don't understand it. Don't any of ya'll have nipples on your chests? LOL It's like something brand new. I think it was 'Bleed that said they were the size of saucers. And I was like, "really?"

From Marx:

Would you like to clear up the rumors about your employment as a male stripper?

No. Let's just say I still wear my old firefighter uniform even though I'm retired. I'm still putting out fires--I'm just using a different kind of hose. :oldrazz:

I'm pretty sure we all have nipples...but yours are rather large man. I think that's where the fascination starts.

From Marx:

Is it true that you once appeared in a FDNY Firefighters Calendar?

No, but I do know some interesting stories about one of the models.

Arya returns:

Do you like to read?
Yes. Although, I must admit I spend more time reading online via computer than any hardcopy materials these days. Does that count?

What is your favorite book?
The Wizard Of Oz (or any of L. Frank Baum's subsequent Oz novels).

Favorite movie adaptation based on the book?
The Devil Wears Prada.

It's the Amazing DarkReflections:

Watchmen or The Dark Knight Returns?

The Dark Knight. Fantastic film there; and it shows what can happen when good actors, directing and storywriting come together.

The only good thing about Watchmen was Dr. Manhattan. :o

Sure. Reading is reading. Well, not when it comes to text messages. :o

What are your thoughts on Sarah Palin?

She's an airhead. And personally I think that dorky nerdy look she's sporting is actually a cover-up for her dirty chandelier-swingng freaky alter-ego. Todd Palin has a dominatrix for a wife. :o

What do you think of Levi Johnston milking his 15 minutes of fame by appearing in Playboy?
That little boy is a self-made ****e. And I bet he has herpes. :nono:

What are your thoughts on John McCain?
I bet he has herpes too. From Sarah.

What are your thoughts on Joe 'The Plumber'?
I think his 15 minutes in fame was shorter than mine. And that's saying something. :whatever:

What are your thoughts on 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell'?
I don't think it's anything new. That clause has been in action since the days of George Washington. It's the corrupt American way.

What are your thought's on California's Prop 8 and the anti-gay vote in Maine?
I don't think we will ever see gay marriage accepted in this world. Ever. And to be honest? It doesn't bother me. I don't need to be legally married to a man to profess my love for him. As far as I am concerned, I was married to David for 11 years...we shared everything, including bank accounts, homes, cars and the common cold.

Now I'm "divorced." And the break was so much cleaner to make without all of the legal red-tape that a legal marriage would've imposed on us.

From my buddy Ultimatefan:

- Why are companies allowed to manufacture cars that go way faster than the legal speed limit?

Now THAT'S a good question. I have no clucking clue.

- Why is American censorship so much more focused on cutting/restraining sexual content than violent one? Are they seriously implying seeing boobs is more damaging to our children and youth than seeing shootouts and serial killers chopping off ´people´s heads?

Good point. It's hypocritical. Just seeing blood on TV makes me physically sick--I have an aversion to it. That's why I can't stomach shows like Greys Anatomy or Nip/Tip.

Besides, for many of us, our earliest memories as babies involve our mother's breast-feeding us. So I don't get what the censorship is about. Seeing a pair of boobs on TV is not going to scar me because I've been sucking on somebody's nipples for the greater part of 30 years anyway, so whathafuss...

The fight for gay marriage is all about rights. It doesn't bother you that you are not getting rights you should be afforded under law as a couple?

There was a story in the news the other day about a gay man who had lost his partner of 11 years. They owned property together, lived together, etc. They were a married couple in every sense of the word, but because that legal recognition wasn't there, the man was not able to claim his partner's body after death. The man was not able to provide a proper funeral for him and had to stand by as his partner was buried in a standard grave where unknown people are buried.

No. I'd rather see more improvement on equal rights in terms of the races and for women to be frank. Gay marriage rights simply don't rank as high on my list--but that's just me.

That's terrible. But wouldn't a will have given the surviving partner certain rights to handle the deceased estate and burial arrangements?

That's what we have/had.

I'm honestly not sure what the status of the will was. (Or if there was a will.) I just remember hearing that the man was denied the right to claim his partner's body after death and what they did with the body afterward.

You've gotta put things in writing. Wills and Power of Attorneys are extremely powerful in the court of law. After we had been together for about 5 years Dave--being the astute attorney that he is--made sure we started putting things in place legally for ourselves. Even now, if anything were to happen to David I'd still get a percentage of what he has. And vice versa. And we're not even together anymore. But it's in writing so that family or friends can't get in the mix and try to manipulate the money if one of us dies.

From Marx:

How dumb is Twitter?

I don't think it's dumb as much as it's unneccessary. What a time-waster. I'll definitely not be investing in that.
