I hate to join the Fox Hate Brigade but this movie seems very different for a fox film, like a little out there, a longer running time... We'll have to wait and see, however I am still confused as **** about the plot judging by the trailers.

I think Max Payne will be fine running time wise. I hope I am right.

It's not like Fox will never release 2 hour movies. Max Payne isn't exactly a big budget tentpole either.

All the more reason to make changes. If your movie can't guarantee sales you don't want to limit your audience. Even with an already established fanbase Fox will play the numbers and come to a decision.

This 2 hours 5 minutes thing started on IMDb, which originally stated 86 minutes. There's no weight behind it until we hear something official.

I just found out this is PG-13 and i'm shocked lol.

If a game like Max Payne is Rated M and the film is PG-13 i'm pretty sure the (maybe) Halo movie is most likely gonna get a PG-13 rating aswell.

Payne's wife and newborn daughter are killed by two guys addicted to a drug that makes them violent. Payne goes on a rogue one man mission to uncover the conspiracy behind his family's death and deals with the criminal underbelly and to the high levels of power where the conspiracy originated.

It looks like it has many of the characters of the game like Mona Sax and some of the other criminals and thugs.

Whatever happen to just wanting to enjoy a movie and not pissing and moaning about it before it even comes out.

Hey, need a little help here... I am doing subs for the trailers, but I'm having problems with two lines: one is the one right before "That's a Valkyrie", and then the two lines from mona sax "--- my help with anything else" and "--- not to go in there"

What I dislike is that Wahlberg forces this stupid northeastern Boston type accent on the character. Max Payne doesn't have an accent.

From people who have read the script certain things have been changed around as well as who the real villain is.
