We will be doing VS. battles for the MCU every week and will be using the Winners and Losers to create an accurate power tier list created by some of it's biggest fans (you). So don't forget to VOTE and after voting for a Winner please include a comment on which power tier, both the Winner and Loser should reside within. Also, see below for more details on the characters abilities as well as for a list of available power tiers to choose from.

Don't forget to put which Tier group you think Hulkbuster Iron Man and The Destroyer belong to in your posts. Also, don't forget I've now added the option of being able to change your vote if you change your mind.

So, without further delay here is this week's match up

Vs.

THE DESTROYER

HULKBUSTER IRON MAN

- Advanced Strength: The suit was specifically designed to match the incredible superhuman strength of Hulk (should he ever need to be subdued), and is powered by over eleven Arc Reactors in order to grant the strength required for such a task. The suit was able to hit Hulk in the face hard enough to knock a tooth out, send Hulk flying two streets away with one punch, and ultimately succeeded in knocking Hulk out when the latter started to calm down after seeing the damage caused.

- Advanced Durability: The armor was built to be much stronger than any previous suits, to take more extreme damage, such as Hulk's brutal attacks.

- Repulsor Beams: The armor has the ability to shoot repulsor beams strong enough to slow down Hulk, if only for a while.

- Prehensile Technology: Using an independent propulsion system, each section can fly to the user from a drop pod hovering around the combat zone and automatically assemble into the Hulkbuster Armor. Despite being composed of individual parts, the XLIV is still able to sustain quite a few blows from Hulk, unlike the XLII.

- Grappling Hook: It is used to hold Hulk down long enough to use the Repulsor Beams on Hulk.

- Extended Punches: The suit is able to use its fist like a jack hammer.

- Chemical Spray: The suit had a chemical spray outfitted in its wrist which Tony tried to use on Hulk.

- Missles: The XLIV is able to launch small missiles which Tony used to increase damage to Hulk after dropping him into the building under construction.

- Veronica Replacement Parts: Should the Hulkbuster armor sustaine heavy damage, the Veronica hovering above the armor will respond to the authorized user's command by sending spare parts to replace the ones that were damaged. For instance, when the Hulk drove a pole into the Hulkbuster's left arm and severely damaged it, upon the command of Tony, Veronica releases several armor parts that would form an alternate left arm for the armor to battle the Hulk.

THE DESTROYER

- Superhuman Strength: The Destroyer's large size and construction gives it formidable physical power, enough to bat away a car hurled at it, and send Volstagg flying with apparent ease. The Destroyer's immense superhuman strength enables it to effortlessly kill a being of human strength and resilience with as little as a back handed strike with an open hand. This allowed it to fatally injure a mortal Thor with severe blunt trauma which sent him flying through the air. With more effort, it can kill a Frost Giant or even Asgardian with its strength, as even the combined efforts of Lady Sif and the Warriors Three did not stand a chance against the Destroyer. Only Thor was able to hold his own against it, after fully regaining his powers.

- Superhuman Durability: The Destroyer is constructed of other worldly materials that make it highly resistant to damage. Even when pierced by Sif's Asgardian lance, it was able to continue functioning. Also, no known human weaponry can harm or destroy it, with Mjølnir being the only known weapon capable of harming it.

- Odinforce Blast: The Destroyer powered by the Odinforce, which resembles a fiery energy, can be unleashed through an aperture in its head. When it does this, part of the facial structure retracts downward into the lower face and the energy discharge lances out in a wide, orange-white, fire like beam. This beam is extremely powerful, as the touch of it is enough to blast a car to pieces, vaporize a living being (even one as durable as a Frost Giant) or lay waste to any structure (a building, for example) it lays its "eyes" upon. Only beings of incredible power, like Thor, are able to withstand these blasts.

- Retrograde Positioning: The Destroyer is able to rearrange the armor pieces that make up its body, giving it a nearly unlimited range of motion. When attacked from behind it was able to face its opponent without turning around by instead fully rotating its arms, legs, and head. This was used when Sif drove a lance through its back and the Destroyer swiftly re-positions itself to blast her.

- Sensory Scrying and Partial Possession: The Destroyer is linked to whoever holds Gungnir and recognizes the spear's wielder as its master. The wielder of Gungnir can perceive whatever transpires around the armor and pilot it by partially possessing it, even if they are separated at vast distances across the Nine Realms. Thus, it can be stopped by an attack on its master, should they have left themselves vulnerable to attack. It was first commanded by Odin, and then by Loki. Odin seemed to be able use it to Frost Giants breaking into his vault, and that Loki was using it to try and kill Thor while he was in possession of Gungnir.

The Destroyer is Odin's Hulkbuster.

While Hulkbuster has a mobility advantage and a much greater variety of weapons, I don't think it could match the raw power of the Destroyer.

The Destroyer, only because of the alien metal.

Now a nano-tech Hulkbuster? The Destroyer gets decimated.

Nano-Tech doesn't seem to be any "tougher" than regular armor though, how would it stand up to The Destroyer's energy beams? Also how would it put down The Destroyer since it was only killed by Mjolnir blocking it's facehole causing it's energy to destroy it from the inside.

The Destroyer eats whatever is thrown at it and eventually disintegrates the Hulkbuster.

The nanobot shield took a blast from the powerstone. As slow as The Destroyer is, he's never get close to nano-tech Hulbuster, and Tony would use his many various attacks to take him down. He'd find a way to cover that facehole.

Brains (especially Tony's) >>>>>>>> a mindless machine.

The shield was destroyed by the Power Stone blast after a few seconds. Also the machine wasn't mindless, it was being controlled by Loki.

I wonder if people think The Destroyer could beat the Hulk since the Hulkbuster is pretty much comparable to Hulk.

In the comics the Destroyer would easily wreck Hulk, I'm not sure about the MCU though.

The Destroyer's implied to have Thor level strength and ridiculous durability since he had to beat it using skill rather than raw strength/power but that's all guess work. I guess I'd have to vote Hulk due to feats.

The Destroyer for me, I don't see how Hulkbuster can stop or even damage it.

I thought Hulkbuster was gonna blow The Destroyer out of water with votes.

People are judging this fight more reasonably than I expected.

Cull Obsidian vs Abomination will be up a little bit later guys!
