Marvel Films MCU Thunderbolts - Team suggestions?

My suggestion for Thunderbolts is Nathan Cooms Nathan Tooms fkin hell why did i write Nathan twice Adrian Tooms aka Michael Keaton aka the Vulture. It is Mandatory to have a flying iron man like character unless they can get the Beetle. I just feel a Spidey villain would elevate the team to another level of familiarity and likeability

Not gonna happen. It isn't a Sony movie and they are too busy throwing Vulture and such into crappy Morbius films

If Marvel were to recast Thunderbolt Ross, should they use Sam Elliot since he already played him in the Ang Lee film? That would at least be a face we've seen before and who was decent in the role instead of having a third actor play the part. Maybe they could even say that William Hurt's version somehow gets replaced or merges with his multiverse version to get Sam Elliot.

I think best route would be make him Red Hulk and use like Ross Marquand to do a William Hurt impression for the voice

Not team related, but given the reports coming out on Don't Worry Darling, who wants to bet someone will drum up rumors that the cast of this film hates Florence Pugh.

Based on everything I've seen, her issues has been with Olivia Wilde not being professional on set, not the cast.

I've heard the same, but you know how the vicious cycle goes.

I dont see the point of bring the Red Hulk when you have Abomination around already. I would be pleased if they dont throw more and more characters into the game and develope establish characters, so they get an arc.
Thats why we loved Ironman, Cap and Spidy in the MCU.

There's no way they bring abomination back to not use him in thunderbolts. And I agree red hulk is kinda pointless in the mcu right now. Maybe if leader uses him as a pawn somewhere down the line or something.

I'm pretty sure the Leader is who the Wrecking Crew is working for in She-Hulk.

So with Ghost, Yelena, Taskmaster AND Bucky this has to start out as more of a genuinely public/govt. approved sort of operation. No way you get all of them on board for something obviously shady.

Also, really surprised to not see Abomination or Zemo on that list, though Zemo at least still has to be in the film I think.

This is just unappealing for me. Like a line up for a D+ series.

They could have added someone new... though I guess the casuals aren't familiar with US Agent yet.

Also like Black Widow, it feels like a 1 and done. This doesn't feel like a trilogy starter.

Hmm. I'm curious how its going to perform at the boX office.

Kind of surprised they didn't replicate the Avengers 1 for 1, but maybe they had a hard time figuring out who their Thor and Iron Man were going to be.

We already have Jane and Ironheart.

Though Thunderbolts aren't really an Avengers lite type of thing, thats the gimmick of the Young Avengers, which could happen in the future.

Jane is deceased and I don't know if Natalie Portman wants to play the character anymore.

A lot of people have been assuming Thunderbolts would just be Dark Avengers with the Thunderbolt name - which is why a lot of people assumed we'd see Justin Hammer in an Iron Man suit, but a dark version of Thor would be harder to find.

Yeah, but if they wanted a Thor in Thunderbolts, they would have made the ending different for Jane Foster.

Unless Portman is hard out for some reason, we're going to see Jane again. The ending of Love and Thunder was exactly in line with the ending of her Mighty Thor comic storyline which led directly to her becoming Valkyrie in the comics. That's not even remotely intended as a permanent death.

I think seeing Ghost interacting with the rest will be more interesting.

Bucky and Agent US already know each other.
So do Yelena, Red Guardian and Taskmaster. Ghost is the "loner" lol.

I also wonder who the "villain" is gonna be. I really hope they don't go the cheap "Val was the bad one all along" way.

With the Alexei and Yelena in the Thunderbolts, I can see team dynamics can be like Alexei is an over-protective father now and dont want that probably Bucky flirt with her.
This would fit MCU-humor, but Im not sure if I like this.

The Leader.
