"Somebody" put their finger on the scale. Methinks he needs a little whine with his cheese.

Worthy Cap. America's @$$ don't lose.

Who you got peeps?

Worthy Cap. 10/10. Ultron is nowhere near the hand to hand fighter that Thanos is and Cap put Thanos on his ass.
While Ultron prime has some vibranium casing he's not all vibranium and Cap is going to put a bunch of dents in him and rattle around all the bits inside. Plus there's the possibility of a systems overload from lightning strikes.
So Worthy Cap all the way.

The Ancient One

I'm assuming with her vast knowledge of magic that she would be able to deflect all of Carol's energy attacks. All she would need to do is to restrain Carol just for one second to knock her into the astral dimension.

Haha. I was replying to the wrong battle. For the last 2 I’ll go with Cap and Cap. Worthy Cap really used Thor style abilities well and Ultron wasn’t all that powerful in AoU. And Cap Marvel if she can attack from far away enough and be ready to evade. But it would be as close as it gets, like a 5.1/10. Win 51 fights out of 100.

Cap wins by a nose in a very close matchup. Next up:

The big unknown is how vulnerable Captain Marvel is to magic - in Endgame the Ancient one was throwing her magic fans and exploding Chiaturi hover sleds, and palm punched Hulk into the astral plane.

Doctor Strange was able to shield himself and do cool stuff with the energies of the Infinity Stones, so I assume the Ancient One could too- and deflect or reflect Carol's blasts.

Once Carol closed to hand to hand range it's all about first strikes - if the Ancient one lands first then she astral punches Carol, game over. If Carol hits first then it's over.

If Carol charges from a distance the Ancient one could portal her somewhere nasty or just disorient her enough to line up an astral punch.

So, I say a narrow edge to the Ancient One, 6/10, with the other 4/10 being Carol landing a first strike.

I vote Ancient One so it ends in a 3-3 tie...........But PrehistoricDog didn't mention that. :o

Anyway, I'm voting Loki and Valkarie. Loki has never really gone all out but when he has, he has shown he is durable and cunning enough and able to dish out enough pain.

vs.

Loki and Valkyrie

Who wins?

Okay. Tough match up. What I think makes the key difference is that Valkyrie has the strength, durability and skill - as well as a weapon - that can seriously damage or kill either Iron Man or rescue. Loki's daggers can hurt Thor, so they're also probably going to penetrate the Iron Man armour.

If it was Iron Man and rescue against Valkyrie by herself, then they'd probably have enough firepower to put her down and 2 on 1 is a tough fight for anyone.

However, the addition of Loki makes it much more interesting- if his magic can fool their sensors then they have a big problem. What Loki would likely do is use an illusion to fake being killed or knocked out and backstab whomever came in close to check.

They've got a massive advantage in terms of mobility and powerful ranged attacks- but if Valkyrie closes with either of them, I doubt their armour would stand up to a dragon fang sword.

As such, terrain is a huge factor - on open ground Valkyrie and Loki are at a big disadvantage. However, Pepper has no real fight training - she just seems to be naturally good at fighting when the story calls for it ( kind of the reverse of plot armour).

All in all, if Loki and Valkyrie actually work together and magic fools team Iron Man's sensors then I give the Asgaridans the win - narrowly, say 6/10 times, with the othe 4/10 they get overwhelmed by Team Iron Man's ranged attacks.

I tend to forget that part. Time to edit.

I'll give it to the Asgardians. One of them can fight against Hulk without the help of a giant armor or breaking a very tall building using him to make him dizzy.

LOKI & VALKYRIE

The Asgardians win in a shut out. Next up:

Got to go with Ghost Rider - I dont think Iron Man's weapons can seriously hurt him. Now if he's wearing mystical Uru armour, different story.

Ghost Rider 10/10. Kind of a mismatch. Back in the day GR was the kind of D&D monster that could only be hurt by magic weapons ( so you needed a plus one dagger to kill him).
