Not to mention they got rid of the best part of the show... Manu.

Doesn't that show has the same writers as Flash?
Why is it so uninteresting?

The main writer and showrunner for the first two seasons (Andrew Kreisberg and Greg Berlanti) left for the Flash, leaving Marc Guggenheim in charge.

Marc Guggenheim ended up being a terrible showrunner who sucked all the fun out of season 3 and made it terrible. They have no idea where they're going with it, they make all the characters selfish unlikable idiots, and forced Ollie and Felicity together which made the season 3 even worse. I didn't even bother to watch the season premiere tonight. It's fallen off a lot after an pretty great season 2.

Does anyone know the hype rules of spoilers here? because a user named 'Johnny' on hype just revealed a seriously major spoiler for Arrow on another unrelated thread over here.

Im actually rather annoyed by this, seeing as i haven't watched the episode yet and it finished premiering less then an hour ago..... :cmad:

Just gonna bump this here, thanks alot johnny....

They didn't get rid of him. Manu Bennett left because didn't like how Slade was Portrayed in that season 3 episode.

That is a shame. I decided to give season one a try because I'd heard the League of Assassins were major players in the series. Their adaption in Nolan's DKT are my favorite CBM villains. I did like Oliver and his crew well enough in the first season. It was nice to see some heroes that went out and were able to have a good time. I guess the characters begin to decay past season one?

Season 1 is very good... Season 2 has highs and lows, mostly highs... 3 starts off GREAT but then its like they decided to concentrate all effort on the Flash.

yea i know, i should have worded that different. Manu is a ****ing boss though.

I just stopped watching after season 2 since I lost complete interest. I might go back to flash since I haven't finished season 1 yet.

Human Torch is no more Christian than I am, I just don't go around masquerading as one while defending child molesters and pretending to be a lesbian woman ().

Thou shalt not lie, ring a bell?

Wowzers... I go away to help my mom with some stuff and the craziest excrement goes down.

They made a large amount of dips**t decisions in Arrow season 3. The best episodes of last season were the crossover episodes and that's because Kreisberg and Berlanti wrote those episodes.

if its in a spoiler thread and labeled as a spoiler, it shouldn't be a problem.. though sometimes people get in trouble for it... its an iffy line to walk so I personally don't walk it.

Yea, I still don't know whats going on with all that lol. I just know C. Lee used a music video and it made my evening.

It wasn't even in a spoiler tag, he just flat out posted a major spoiler image that would've been an awesome surprise. :csad:

even when it is in a spoiler thread, its frowned upon in my eyes because so many people use spoiler tags to hide smileys and ****.

yea whoever it was will get in trouble then. we dont take to kindly to spoiler bastards around heaaahhh

And it wasn't even posted in a spoiler thread, it was posted in a completely different hype thread because of the fact that its a character from another property in DC.

Stop crying,it's nothing.

I'm not crying gosh darnit! :argh:

I'm just saying that was a huge spoiler posted in a thread that's got nothing to do with Arrow less then an hour after it finished airing.

Its not a spoiler, its a piece of marketing released for Arrow. Its been shown on the SHH mainpage without any spoiler tags.

It isn't spoiling anything, if you think it is then you are reading way too much into it.

I wanted to like ARROW a from the start. The first few episodes of that first season are rough but show promise. But... I couldn't make it past that first season. I think the show nails the action and has a good mix of both "comic book" aesthetic and "gritty"... But it wasn't well written from the start (I liked the idea of the flashbacks thought), speaking for myself, and I think it's got half okay to good actors, and half dull to REALLY bad actors. Unfortunately Amell himself falls into the dull category. He is obviously committed to the part and the show, and he gives his all in action scenes... That just wasn't enough to forgive his acting or the writing for the character.

My thing is, I don't think "embracing the source material" (which can mean different things to different fans) is a general get out of jail free card for the underwhelming writing and acting.

i dont even know what the spoiler is, but i hope felicity died.

The writing is beyond awful. The characters, are dumb, inconsistent, whiny and entirely unlikable.
The Flash episode is fun.
But that's the only episode I sat through from season 3 of Arrow.

Sometimes I think maybe Guggenheim should have remained with Marvel after 2008.

I always chuckle when I'm in a show-only GoT thread and some clowns come in and start posting book spoilers as "theories" for the show.
