The fact that none of it was photographed together. Really? You can't get an actual school desk for her to sit on? It looks stupid. Even the books in her arms are fake.

I liked that fanmade one a lot better. The one with Megan in the bloody white dress. I'm sure it's posted somewhere around here.

I do understand. These movie companies have tons of money they can throw into promotional materials, so when something comes out looking crap it's disapointing. Clearly the only thought put into that poster was "MEGAN FOX IS TEH HOT, SHE WILL SELL THE FILM!" Like I said before you can find tones of better manips online, and those guys have 1/10th the resources.

But my point is, this is one poster out of 8-10 that we get now for some of these films. and given the technology that fans use to make the posters is the same things used by the professionals, it's not a bit insult to say "you have seen better fan made stuff".

Look at Dark Knight, the posters went from meh (the Face/card posters and the Batpod jumping out of the building) to captain kickass (the blurry "Why so serious" Joker one, and the flaming bat symbol in the side of the building posters). It depends who is signing off on this production art. Someone gives this work a pass, and it's sent to the printer then out to promotions.

We won't get 8-10 posters for Jennifer's Body. 2, maybe 3 tops, but this could even be the only one. Films like TDK get several because they are summer blockbusters and the studio is trying to drum up excitement.

And yes, the programs that the designers use are often the same, but when I say studios have more resources I don't just mean that they can throw more money at technology. They have access to huge image libraries, can pay for the best training, and can get the top people. So when a guy who is making posters at home using images he or she found using Google, it doesn't look too good on the professionals.

Honestly, I'm not emotionally invested enough in this movie to care this much about the poster, and as Doctor Jones has proved the poster chosen by the studio is serving its purpose very well. I just wanted to point out that it sucks when some posters are really lazily done.

This trailer totally rubbed me the wrong way. I'm a big fan of Juno, but this makes me doubt the talents of Cody and Reitman considerably. I guess we'll have to wait to see the film, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

I mean, my opinion of Juno will remain the same but it looks like I'm going to have to seriously reconsider my opinion of Reitman and Cody. We'll see, I guess.
