Yeah, its called a **** :D

ZING!
No... not really. Saying you enjoy having sex with your BOYFRIEND(one partner) is much different from saying you enjoy having sex with multiple partners.

just saw this last night. really dug it, and dont get what all the negative hubbub is about. some of the dialogue is face-palmingly corny, but i dont think there was more then one instance where it brought me out of the movie. all the actors handled the material pretty well, much better then expected at least.

:fhm::fhm::fhm::fhm::fhm: out of five. I had a blast watching this film at TIFF 09! It reminded me of "Heathers" which I adore. Hope to see more of Diablo Cody's writing in films. :word:

Megan was funny in this, and naturally sexy, sexy. *meow* The stand out for me was Amanda Seyfried as Needy, though. She's in some good films, and is an up-and-coming actress to follow.

I'm going to see it again soon. There were so many classic scenes and lines, I thought. The whole bar scene was whacked. Adam Brody gave a good performance as well.

Loved "Juno" too so I hope Diablo keeps on going. Thought the crazy dark humor, demonic horror combined with girl teen angst friendship was excellent. And in the end, justice and the  takes revenge over indifference, shallow pursuits, and materialism with lots of humor to boot. :word:

amanda seyfried is someone ive had an eye on as an up and comer for a long time, since veronica mars s.1 (as liily kane). i remember telling my buddy, watching VM i said "shes good, if she plays her cards right she could be a big star i think"... and so far her star is rising after this, mamma mia, and a host of other flicks w/leading roles shes gonna blow up soon.

adam brody FTW the whole 8675309 bit was priceless

She and Dominic Cooper were the stars in "Mamma Mia!" Was so happy everytime a scene with those two came on. I kinda cringed at all the other parts, I'm afraid. But that's just me. Okay, Colin Firth singing was the exception.:oldrazz:

This is why I need to do a repeat viewing of this film. My husband and I laughed so hard at this scene! Thanks for refreshing my memory! Good times.:hehe:

This movie was awesome and so much fun. No idea how someone could hate it....

^Me either. I mean maybe dislike but hate? What kind of world are we living in?

Saw this yesterday. Not a bad movie, but not a good one, either. It's entertaining enough, I suppose, with decent effects and good makeup work. Amanda Seyfried and the supporting cast are decent, if unspectacular, giving what amount to "horror movie performances", though Seyfriend does that pretty well here. Loved seeing JK Simmons in a small, but darkly funny, role. Fox, while not outright good, is good for this role, that is, she's just suited to it, everything about her appearance, her tone, etc, works for this part. The movie is somewhat awkwardly structured as a story with some rather convenient revelations, the music choices are awful, and every major "scare" or "surprise" is incredibly, incredibly telegraphed. There are a few funny lines here and there, though ("Am I too big?". There are a few interesting elements to the overall concept as well, the basic themes, and stuff like the rockband needing Satan to succeed in today's indie environment, but most of it gets drowned out by cliche. I did like the cheesy romantic ending between Needy and her boyfriend, though.

And the leads' kissing scene...wow. A lot was made of that, and I figured "Oh, it'll be too girls kissing", but it was perfectly framed, and pretty electric.

haha yeah its begs 4 a repeat im going on wed w/a couple friends i think

My wife and I went and saw this tonight and we both thought it was really good. I don't understand why someone would hate this movie. While I'm sure there are people who genuinely disliked the movie, my guess is alot of people dismissed it simply because it starred Megan Fox and was written by Diablo Cody. Personally I didn't care for Juno and Megan Fox has come off pretty bad in many of her interviews, but judging the movie on it's own merits I liked it.

Early 'Jennifer's Body' DVD/Blu-ray Date

A December 29th date is rumored for Fox Home Entertainment's Blu-ray and DVD release of Jennifer's Body. No further details are available. Penned by Diablo Cody, the story of a cheerleader (Megan Fox) who is possessed by a demon and starts feeding off the boys in a Minnesota farming town. Her "plain Jane" best friend must kill her, then escape from a correctional facility to go after the Satan-worshiping rock band responsible for the transformation.

Expect a Unrated version.

I liked it. It wasn't that bad, but it wasn't really good either. Somewhat mediocre, but I was entertained. Needed more splatter and some explaining (or maybe I just completely missed the part where Jennifer explains how she's perfectly fine being this half-demon thing). Eh, Needy was the best thing in this. Really liked what happened to her character.

This movie came out here recently. I liked it too. For the past few days I had been watching some bad horror films on cable i.e. Night of the Demons 2, Return of the Living Dead, and so forth. So this movie is better than most cheesy horror flicks. I was surprised that Amanda's role was much bigger than I expected. The ending was really good.

Update: First Word on Jennifer's Body DVD, Blu-Ray Release

Update: Video ETA has updated their Jennifer's Body listing with the DVD cover art. Check it out to the left. We'll have high res cover art for you shortly.

Confirmation is pending, but according to Video ETA, Fox Home Entertainment is eyeing a December 29 DVD and Blu-Ray release for this fall's Jennifer's Body. Special features have not been revealed.

Starring Megan Fox, Amanda Seyfried, Adam Brody and Johnny Simmons, the Diablo Cody-penned horror comedy bowed in theaters on September 18. It underperformed, needless to say, and grossed an $18 million worldwide.

When Fox dishes official details, we'll let you know.

To say this movie underperformed is an understatement. I love that DVD cover though!
