Men and Hugs

Nice SonofLogan. I've never gotten that close to man where our genitals would come in contact. I imagine that'd be very weird.

Jointy said something about lingering hugs earlier. I think that's what I find the most uncomfortable. How long do you have to squeeze somebody to say "Hey, nice to see you again"?

That depends on the size of her breasts and the feel of her arse.

HOMOPHOBE!

Go back and read both times where I said it had nothing to do with homosexuality. I feel the same way about hugging women as well as men. :o

Right... Classic case of homophobia if I ever saw it. HOMOPHOBE!

4. With your freehand simultaneously pat the other person on the back.

glad someone else brought up the back patting. I usually find three pats to be sufficient, as if to say "I'm not gay.", with each pat representing a syllable.

There's nothin' wrong with a guy huggin' a guy. Now, if that hug lingers fer an inappropriet amount o' time, then you need to worry. Otherwise, not like yer doin' it nekkid. Just a show of emotion an' affection.

LMAO

No... only one pat. Three is trying to hard. Most of my friends and I end with a complex handshake after the pat and release.

I would prefer to only hug my boyfriend, but when people come up to me with their arms all open for a hug, I think it'd be super rude to back away or something lol.

Like I said before, the excessive patting makes it seem like the two people haven't seen each other for years cuz they've been out fighting the gods on Mt.Olympus.

C'mere baby!

I don't like it when girls hug me because no matter if they're sisterly, homely or 70 years old, I'm such a horndog that the proximity gets me bothered.
Next, I think I have bad associations with male-hugging because my Dad used to ruin our lives by taking off for days to shoot cocaine with his ex whenever life became stressful and when he'd come back he'd act all meek and start crying and then hug me.
This was gross because he is a huge, hairy, musky Hell's Angels-type who looks like a cross between Thor and a hog.

My version of a hug is when you're shaking hands and you clap your other hand over the hand of your fellow hand-shaker.
Lay off the torso unless you're my girlfriend, perv.

C'mere.

I abhor any physical contact in public via PDA. I just don't like it. I'm not into physically hugging other people. Just not my thing.

My cousins seem to have this thing about hugging the guys they know, but they make certain to do it in a harsh horseplay type of way so as not to imply anything. ;)

I didn't think you liked any sort of physical contact since you're a brain in a bottle full of liquid nutrients hooked up to a computer.

Evil Con Carne?

Same principle as the way you face when coming out of an aisle at a concert or movie. If it's a girl in the seat, you face her, but if it's a guy, you automatically turn your back to him. It's almost a reflex.

I've often wondered how conscious girls are of their breasts pressing together when they hug each other.

I'm sure they're aware of it. They seem to like doing it over and over.

I just wanted to run this by you guys, if you go to hug a guy and he wraps his legs around your back then that is a bad thing right?
