No, I believe you must just have your guest with you when you enter and the one ticket will get you both in.

Otherwise folks would just print lots of tickets and make it hell for the theater employees. :wow:

Yeah I think the accepted idea is that all you need is the one copy of the ticket that you printed off to get the ticket. That and your photo ID, but I think that part of it is well understood.

So I think I'm free to meet somwhere, it's just a matter of timing as I'm 3 hours away from St. Michael. I think if we meet up at some place in Rogers, have a quick dinner or even a few drinks that would be fun and then just caravan it over to the IMAX to wait in line for good seats, Woohoo!

Wasn't the screening last night? So where are the reviews?

It sounds like meeting up in Rogers would make the most sense. It's likely traffic will be bad coming up 94. The closer we are to the theater, the better. I'm thinking around 5:30 would give us enough time to get to the show by 7 if that's when everyone wants to get there. I suppose some of us will be working so they may not make it by 5:30, but could join us asap.
Also, I believe the theater has a full bar in case anyone wants drinks once we get there...as well as the usual theater food.

Krystal, glad to see you'll be coming, and ticket #1! LUCKY!

I was a slow poke with #19.

There is a full bar. Seriously, this theater is fantastic guys - it is my favorite theater in the metro area. It's huge and the food selection is fantastic.

When I and my crew arrive... well, it depends on my crew. I have to find out when everyone is done working for the day. And don't beat yourselves up, 19 and 22 aren't bad at all! Hehe.

Mmm, full bar...

I'll more then likely be getting there at about 5 o'clock..

I like being early :)

i most likely won't be getting there until about 7:30 (at the earliest...i blame work), so i won't be there for dinner or meeting up before hand. have we come to a general idea of a time to be at the theater?

I think 7-7:30 is the accepted time.

I will be mad if i get stuck sitting near the front row because my eyes are sensitive

Bring some sun glasses just in case, hehehe. We'll have to work together to try to get everyone with us good seats.

I think we should just go someplace easy like the Rogers Denny's or Applebee's, casual and not too pricey. I suppose though if someone wanted a drink or two that would just leave Applebee's. The first able to get there can nab some tables as early as 5-5:30 and everyone else as they can, then heading over the theater around 7-7:30. Just remember there will be traffic.

Here is a google map from Applebee's to the theater. Denny's is near here as well.

I think the swag swap is a great idea too. It might be nice just to see some stuff even if someone doesn't want to trade, (although everything does have a price :oldrazz: ), for those who haven't got the chance to see everything.

Anyhoo, that's what I'm thinking ladies and gentlemen. Let your voice be heard. Let try to decide soon. :cwink:

P.s. I did find this place a little closer but know nothing about it.

Hey i was just thinking, is there something we all can do to know which people are from the hype? I know there is going to be around 300 people at the theater but what is the possibility that they are mostly noobs? I dont think it have to go as far as wearing a name tag though.

well, wearing batman merch probably won't be the best idea.... hmmm.

booty shorts?! hahaha.

well the average fan can go to hot topic and buy a batman shirt, ill be sporting my joker shirt and my harvey dent buttons

I'll try to make it but I may end up having to meet up with you guys at the theater. I'll find out tomorrow if I can take a half day on Tuesday. We'll see.

Well, if 5:30 is too early for people coming from out of state and from work, I'm cool with meeting up a bit later at, say, 6 or 6:30 in Rogers. We'd still have plenty of time to get to the theater a few hours early. I just know I'm going to have to eat something before I head over to the theater. Hotdogs and nachos just don't cut it for dinner.

As for identifying each other, we could post pics of ourselves, or just plan to be in a specific place at a specific time (however, this may be difficult if we end up getting in line early). I guess that's why I thought a meet up before getting to the theater would be cool.

This may be the only chance for some of us to share our viral bat-stories face-to-face, so I'm hoping we have time to chill and talk before we experience what will surely be a mind-blowing theatrical event.

By the way, if anyone needs a Gotham Times #2, let me know. I can bring a few extras for those that do not have one...

5:30 is fine for me and I think Applebee's is our best bet. I"m from out of state but don't have to work so I'm pretty sure that I'll be able to be there a little early. Either that or I'm going to be sitting at the theater from 4 but I don't think my guest wouldn't exactly like that :hehe:

I don't have a GT #2 or #3 so if anyone has any extras that they would be able to give away I would love to take advantage of your kindness.

To identify ourselves there's always the name tags, either that or posting pictures or links to our myspaces/facebooks  Either that or you can all gather around Ricardo Monte Carlos, better known as my car, identifable with the CFB stickers and the Wisconsin liscense plates. But I think the best ways would be the picture route.

Oh and since I'm getting there early I might be able to nab some tables. Just need to know how many people are actually going to meet early, which I think is a good idea that way we can have a big Dark Knight caravan over to the IMAX :hehe:

I think i might be getting there at 8:00 pm, i just would like a good seat.

One though, so what can i do for two hours while waiting in line if my cell phone and camera will be in my car because we arent allowed to bring them in.

I have a few friends who got tickets, so we are going to carpool in one large vehicle. However, we won't be getting there in time for food since we can't leave Minneapolis until everyone is off work and has met up in one spot.

Have a "surged" Guinness for me at Applebee's. :yay:

Okie well that's one that's not going. Need to know a bit more can/cannot go eat people so I can kind of judge when to leave by (I am 3 hours away from Rogers or St. Michael so it's kind of important especially if I'm going to get the tables).

Well we'll see you there :) And if I could drink I would indeed have a 'surged' Guinness, but alas, one and a half years is all that seperates me. It sucks being between 18 and 21 :( Especially up here, you got to be 21 to have all the fun. (But between you and me it's not like I don't anyway :cwink:)

I won't be there for dinner, but I'm all up for meeting at the theater, depending on when we all get going from my house. I think Applebees takes reservations, so you could call ahead and reserve the tables, too.

And I agree! The worst are the bars that actually card...especially in a certain party-school in Wisconsin...
