Anyways, what are some the sites to see seeing this is my first time visiting.

The part of Miami on the West Coast.

There is this awesome fast food chain there, Pollo Tropical. I have no clue if it exists in other parts of the States, but it is super yummy. It's all carribbean food.

Also for a break from South Beach, there is this place in Coral Gables called the Venetian Pool (http://www.coralgablesvenetianpool.com/). It's one of the most interesting pools I've been to, architecturally and for the swimming. Lots of neat history.

You can't go to Miami and not eat the Cuban food. Try Enriqueta's Sandwich Shop. Its my personal favorite when I'm in the area. And don't let the look deceive you. The food is amazing.

You are right there on Pollo Tropical. I love Pollo Tropical and whenever I head back down to Miami I stop there. You can also find Pollo Tropical in Tampa, Orlando, and somewhere in New Jersey I think. Good stuff. Gotta love the Yuca fries. Yum!


Some places to see may be Bayside, although I haven't been there in ages so I don't know how nice it is now. If your into zoos, they have the Miami Metrozoo. There's Vizcaya also. And others have mentioned the Museum of Science and Coral Castle. You could also hang around Coral Gables, there was this great all you can eat restaurant called The Knife, if it's still there since it's been a few years since I ate there. It was like an Argentinian steak house. You also have the beaches and stuff and clubs if your into that sort of thing. Lots to do there in Miami.

Don't go to Hialeah at night.

Probably best to avoid that area completely.
