The Dark Knight Michael Jai White Cast in TDK

Haven't seen much of White's work besides Spawn but i understand that he can kick butt for real if necessary.t:

Pfft look how many blacks were in Superman Returns, Spiderman, and X-Men movies. Virtually none. The only black person with a somewhat important role was Robbie in Spiderman.

Batman not only has more blacks but we're all in prominent positions. Kudos to Nolan on that.

Rise of the Silver Surfer: Andre Braugher, Kerry Washington, Laurence Fishburne and in X-Men 3 things were mixed up a lot more too with a very colorfull cast incl Halle Berry, Dania Ramirez, Omahyra, Ken Leung, Shoreh Aghdashloo etc.

The Spawn movie was terrible.

Now the HBO cartoon series, well, that was amazing.

Michael did a good job as Tyson. He's the same size and structure...and he resembles him as well.

But he was too small (short, stocky) for Spawn.

If they ever try to do Spawn again, this is the guy for it.

i'm ok with Micheal Jai White , at least they went with a real actor, he doesnt get too much breaks though, it was kinda sad that Spawn wasnt a success that it had potentials of becoming (i guess it just wierded most people out). hopefully his exposure in TDK can get him back on track.

People have a right to their opinion. Mos Def, Ice Cube, and Will Smith are the only good actors that were/are rappers. David Banner shouldn't have even been considered for the film at all.

Tupac was brilliant. Black mob boss, would have been perfect. ****in shame.

It is official, Chris Nolan is the new Quentin Terantino. He's resurrecting actors with dead movie careers. First it was Eric Roberts then Anthony Michael Hall and now Michael Jai White. Adding White to the mix is a wonderfull casting incredient. I just can't wait to see everything comes together on screen. I'm betting that this movie as a sequel will be more superior than Spider Man 2.

Michael Jai White is a great addition to the film. He's a great actor IMO and a real nice guy too. I met him a few years ago while in my SPAWN suit...yea yea..I'm a geek...I dress up in costume EVERY CHANCE I GET...LOL..anyway he was a great guy in person. Humble, soft spoken...but built like a tank. Someone mentioned something about making Gamble the Black Mask instead...and, I find that association very interesting....basically...what if this was the future of Jai Whites role in TDK?

Either way...I'm thrilled for this casting choice!!!

Great casting choice....I'm happy for him. Also, on that note...I dont know anything about David Banner but I suspect that if he was up for this role that he too would have done a fine job as well.

I guess thats in reference to David Banner....how did you come to the conclusion that he can't act??
