Wow. All three of the Burtonites here who flame the Nolan films really bother you that much? Nothing like stereotyping to show you have a complete and intentional lack of understanding in regards to a specific group of fans whose opinions are just as valid as yours.

What I as trying to point out was, it would be another piece of ammunition that the Burtonites could use against the Nolanites in the utterly pointless and ridiculous war that seems to have occured.

There are only two "Burtonites" on this board who go out of their way to bash Nolan's films. GoogleMe and Damiean Dark. The rest of Burtonites do no bashing of any kind, and it would be adult of you to acknowledge that instead of stereotyping all of them like some kind of menace, when they are not.

If you were, you wouldn't have dropped an insult to the Burton fans, as they're "Batmanites" too. Just because somebody likes Tim Burton's movies better does not make them any less of a fan. So don't act or treat them like it does, which you are when you insult them like you are somehow above them.

Cameos like that come across very cheesy to me.

Batman is being taken entirely too serious these days. A cameo doesn't instantly mean that it's going to be cheesy. A cameo would obviously be made to fit within the tone of the film.

If I were to give Keaton a cameo in the franchise, I'd have him play the "Nice coat" bum. And have him make appearances occasionally in the films. It would reflect Keaton's real-life career!

And no, you didn't specify any such thing, you didn't specificy if it was this board, or all of the internet. Obviously, there are tons of them outside of this board, but here there are only two.

And no, the ones who "let it die down" would NOT revert to bashing. Grow up and smell the **** you're shovelling. There's a reason they "let it die down", it's because they have no desire to bash it in the first place, they're better than that. But if you did more than blindly stereotyping, you'd know that. I, on the other hand, am part of that crowd and know the rest of the crowd well. So I'm a Hell of a lot more qualified to make that assesment than you are.

You are behaving as if there is some kind of "Burtonite Legion" that is lying in wait to bash Nolan. Which is complete and utter bull****. But you go right ahead, keep on assuming. Burton does not mean "Nolan basher", so stop acting like it does.

Try and follow my logic, you are dealing in extremes. It is not one or the other. Being a Burtonite does not mean you hate Nolan and immediately bash him and his work. All of your statements indicate that that IS what you think, so you might want to be more careful about that in the future.

So cut the attitude and realize that I have a point. There would be more harmony on this board if people didn't do what you're doing and assume that the other side is scheming and evil. I'm a Burtonite, but I still like Nolan's material a lot. I just prefur Burton's films. I don't go around assuming that the "Nolanites" are going to look for any shred of evidence to bash Burton's films. Although from the evidence that exists, this is a much bigger possiblity.

Granted, we could get an influx of new members that ARE the Burtonites that bash Nolan, but the group that exists now, the Burtonites we have, are not the evil, petty, scheming foolish group that you are making them out to be.

Some "Batmanite" you're behaving like. Here's an idea: if you're interested in actually being fair, how about you don't go around throwing insults at a particular group of fans in the first place?? Ever think of that?

Of course, like always, I've probably wasted my breath and you won't have understood anything I typed here.

Some of you are liars saying that batman with Keaton was not a good idea. The movie made millions and there s a reason for that.The movie was a succes! Maybe some of you were too young but I have good memories about that old batman with Tim Burton and keaton which happen almost 20 years ago. So they can't honor him by giving him a cameo?
