Interesting that didn't bother me. The only part that did was the one I mentioned. Saving Private Ryan and Letters from Iwo Jima get at me though.
I know it's cliche... but the little girl in the red dress always got me.

When I watch Schindlers list I want caviar and to smoke french cigerettes eat german chocolates and all this weird stuff. Then buy some pots and pans.

I cried in Saving Private Ryan when Wade died. I'm man enough to admit that. When he was asking for his mother, I just broke down.
Both great films as well.
The part in Iwo Jima
"Do what is right because it is right." That always got me for some reason.
I like Pans, but I did not think it to be one of the greatest films, I know lots liked it, wonderfully done, but I just did not get into it as much. Maybe I need to watch it once more.
When he is an oldman it reminds me of my grandpa and makes me really sad.
Well no movie is perfect, I have yet to see a perfect movie just really good

I think films can be perfect to a person.
It cant be perfect to all people, but to specific people it can be 'the perfect film.'
I know I've spent a lot of time searching for 'my perfect film(s)' and I'm happy to say I have a few that are very near and dear. Now, maybe most people wouldn't like them, or maybe they got great reviews, but either way to me, they're my idea of the perfect film.
On topic, all Keaton said was that he liked the script and bits, right?
The only thing he had to say about TDK was that it'll probably be better than BB, which he's sure it was good.
So, wow. Seems like he was only throwing a bone to people like us and didn't want to say anything negative.
I know, right?![]()
If there were a "giggle" smilie I'd use it in response nowSo um... just imagine one.
Oh, I wanna show you something something thatme ...

I think I almost died by the end. This guy has too much time on his hands.
?
I'm sure he doesn't care what people like us think. He's got a life. He's directing films now. He's not trying to be "the Batman" for all time.
You make it sound like he did something bad by giving a shout out to the next generation of batfilms.
Oh yes, I've seen that before. And yes, that guy did have WAAYYY too much time on his hands.
Taking 10 seconds of your life to say something, doesn't negate that life you have. And where on earth did I imply that he's trying to be Batman all the time?
And I don't make it sound like it's a bad thing, just too uninteresting to say "good sport" to him and all that.
He just said good comments about 2 films he hasn't watched. Well, I guess I could say "good sport", because of that.
PS: Uwe Boll directs movies, too. What kind of an argument is "He's directing movies now"? Can't a director comment on his past work?
