I hope when the teaser drops they don't show or mention the Vulture at all, that way it keeps us in even MORE suspense. Oh yeah guys, I went there.

Nah, they're gonna show him. The only MCU film that did not show the villain in the trailer is Civil War. Unless I don't remember well enough.

Speaking of Vulture, apparently they're doing a collection of sorts with Spider-Man's various encounters with Vulture to tie-in with Homecoming next year. Amazon lists:

I wouldn't mind. I'm kinda considering not watching any of the trailers since they just spoil everything nowadays. The posters and pictures are enough for me before a film

I found the GOTG teaser pretty underwhelming. I hope we get more than that at least, more along the lines of TASM1's teaser trailer.

But since green bomber jackets are also classic, why not just have that in the first place instead of having to go brown and then people having to decide it's still acceptable to them? There would have been no harm in having it in green.

I'm slightly color blind and colored in a self portrait with a green crayon as a child, so I should be okay.

Felt like they tried a bit too much to distance themselves from anything remotely familiar with Vulture and instead went for their own thing based on various influences.

I liked the last Goblin look (as well as Electro and Lizard), but I understood and got any/every reason why people wouldn't

I loved the Lizard, thought Electro was really good, but that Goblin design is the worst. I do agree that some people poo on it just because they didn't like the franchise. I actually enjoy TASM 2 (along with the first) but I absolutely HATE that design.

I don't know, but I trust Marvel and Sony to make him a cool villain, especially with Keaton.

If it fails, fine. We'll be wrong. But I'd rather be a defeated optimist than a surprised pessimist.

Green Goblin still has green, he still has a glider, and he laughs manically. He's still Green Goblin, guys.

Vulture still has green, he still has wings, and he's old. He's still Vulture, guys.

I like the bomber jacket look. I'm hoping he's wearing some kind of green jumpsuit underneath, not unlike the Spider-Man Unlimited game design. (Those wings from the game, though--yick).

Still hoping the mask isn't a permanent feature--maybe for the first few encounters to enhance the surprise when Spidey discovers his true age. ("You--you're an old guy! I've been beating up on a senior citzen!")

Sartorially, I think it would translate to live action much better than a green jacket over a green jumpsuit. If they're angling for practicality (and by all accounts they seem to be) then I'd say a former pilot/flight tech designer would be much more likely to own or steal a brown pilot bomber than to fly into H&M for the trendy green one. lol
