I can definitely buy them as mother and daughter.
I dunno. Evangeline doesn't look that much older.
There is a 21 year difference between Pfeiffer and Lilly and that picture of Pfeiffer is from 2007. She looks like a woman in her late 50s now.

I'd love for that to be the case but let's be real... this is a Janet who's spent the best years of her life far from the people she loved, trapped in an alien and probably hostile dimension... she doesn't really have much reason to be bubbly and playful anymore.Douglas is playing a fairly serious character, so I hope that Michelle is playful and bubbly and more humorous. Evangeline is playing more of the straight woman to Paul Rudd, but Janet shouldn't be so similar to Hope. I'm hoping that Hope got her serious personality more from her father.

Hopefully, we'll at least get some flashbacks, maybe featuring a digitally de-aged Douglas and Pfeiffer, in which we'll get to see the pre-Quantum Realm Janet, back in the day when she was bubbly and carefree. I'd love to see that version of Janet because Pfeiffer is often at her sexiest playing more extroverted, confident characters.I'd love for that to be the case but let's be real... this is a Janet who's spent the best years of her life far from the people she loved, trapped in an alien and probably hostile dimension... she doesn't really have much reason to be bubbly and playful anymore.
Urgh why do we always have to worry about age all the time in threads about women. Just move on. There's other more interesting details.
Janet is stuck in that realm where time is irrelevant, so she shouldn't aged that much anyway.

Any chance we'll see Pfeiffer for more than one film or likely to be a one off?
I have to wonder about Michelle and Michael sticking around myself.

Hopefully AM&W makes enough for that to happen. A wedding could be cool and I think there could be a fair chance of one of them dying at some point. Would be nice to hav Pfeiffer in at least 2 films as we get to feel she is in the MCU properly for the period between those films rather than in and out in the same film. They're just now working on Ant-Man 2, so if that makes big money they will probably move on to an Ant-Man 3 at a later date in which one parent might die for dramatic effect or Scott & Hope could get married and mommy Janet is there to help Hope on her big day.
Eh, I hope it did, because I really like the idea of Janet spending her years in the Quantum Realm as some sort of lone hero, fighting all kinds of weird monstrosities. That's assuming she was conscious or that time passed for her at the same rate as for everyone outside. It might not have felt like decades to her.
I guess that could be a solution... we'll see.Hopefully, we'll at least get some flashbacks, maybe featuring a digitally de-aged Douglas and Pfeiffer, in which we'll get to see the pre-Quantum Realm Janet, back in the day when she was bubbly and carefree. I also hope the film keeps to Janet's origins as a socialite heiress and fashion designer. Not everyone has to be a scientist or a professional spy.
