I've owned Splinter Cell, Pandora's Tomorrow, Chaos Theory and Double Agent.

I've owned Metal Gear, Metal Gear Solid 1, 2 and 3.

I'm jonesing for Conviction and Rising.

Same here. Metal Gear Solid 4 is one of my fav titles this gen, so more Metal Gear please. And Conviction just looked stunning.

As of right now, all we know is that its coming to the 360 and thats it.

Well they certainly aren't going to say anything about a PlayStation 3 version at a Microsoft conference. The only reason why it's a big deal is simply because they're bringing Metal Gear to the Xbox in a way that won't suck like Substance. Sorta like how they made a big deal out of Final Fantasy XIII headed to the Xbox 360 at last year's E3.

They didn't even say it was exclusive or anything. And if it were, they would have repeated it over and over again to nail it in our heads. Even IGN has said that they expect it to be multiplatform and already made a PlayStation 3 page for it.

Well i doubt its exclusive as well, but at this point, its all i know. The only word from Konami is that its a 360 title.

Just because they mean nothing to you doesn't mean it isn't a big deal to other people.

Even though I'd love to play God of War on 360, I knew that I'd never get to play it on any system other than PS3 before I purchased 360. It's like wishing for Gran Turismo for 360 or Halo for PS3; not gonna happen, ever.

Sony owns that IP, so no go unless they sell it off

Not probably, most definitely. God of War will never appear on the Xbox 360 because Sony owns the IP. And well...putting God of War on the Xbox 360 is like Microsoft putting Halo on the PlayStation 3, and Nintendo deciding to make Super Mario HD.

I'm definitely getting Alan Wake (it was one of the reasons I bought a 360), Crackdown 2, Splinter Cell: Conviction, Mass Effect 2, and Bioshock 2.

Halo ODST is a maybe, as is Reach.

I'll pass on Final Fantasy 13 and Metal Gear.
