Hey did anyone love this first game like I did?

I will admit there was a lot of room for improvement but overall I found it very original and enjoyable. Loved trying to make it through the entire game with killing anybody.

Is there any news about a possible sequel?

Or does anyone even want a sequel?

EA/DICE have said there is work being done on one and that a sequel will release, at some point. That was back in like 09 i think, but there hasn't been any updated news i dont believe.

I remember them saying they would use Frostbite 2, sounds promising, what lacked the game was being longuer.

The only problems I had with the first game was how stiff and awful the gunplay was and the combat could have been much better

Well on the hardest difficulty guns are very valuable. I'm not saying I played the game like a first person shooter, but why even have them if they're going to control like that

I love Mirror's Edge. Still have a copy for when ever I get the virtual parkour itch. I've wanted a sequel and/or multiplayer features since the first game came out.

You weren't supposed to use guns.

I'm pretty sure that if a videogame includes guns, the ability to fire said guns and portions where you are forced to fire a gun in order to progress, then you are supposed to use them.
I understand that the game encourages escaping over fighting, but there are plenty of moments where it's fun and useful to use guns.

There was no part of the game where you were forced to use a gun, else the achievement of making it through the entire game without killing anybody would be pointless.

I got through my very first playthrough without using a gun. It was only frustrating in the server room part at the end. Besides that it was a total breeze.

Yeah I easily made it through my first playthrough without using one

The guns being a ***** to handle is probably genius on the dev team's part, because Faith wouldn't know how to shoot one.
