Prognosticator said:Yes! With a VERY underated and underHYPEd performance! Great emsemble casting by Abrams!

And it just drove home to me more that this is just a big budget Alias episode starring Tom Cruise since it has the same basic set-up and ENDING as Alias does.
That´s EXACTLY what I was afraid of, and what I read in most reviews. What the choice of Abrams implied to me was to see a MI movie with more characterization, better dialogue, something less flash and bang than the two previous movies. I think that´s why MI III isn´t opening as big as industry expectations. If you look back, it´s a pretty frivolous franchise.Prognosticator said:The movie holds up on ACTION ALONE, much less great performances from the likes of Philip Seymour Hoffman, Billy Crudup, and actually Tom Cruise doesn't do too bad when it comes to the intensely emotional scenes...but the ACTION!!! OMG, it is IN-TENSE! I highly recommend it for the theater experience alone.
