Joel Schumacher's kind of hit and miss, hopefully the project will turn out well.
I think they can get so many things right with an animated project. Heck even guest staring in one of the other animated projects would be great. The new spiderman series would be good, maybe then we'll see a rematch with the fly!
.....as long as the project looks a little something like this...
....bring it on!! Let MK first be known in animation until it is safe to take him to cinema.
This is how I see it, on the silver screen, Batman is once again on top. I don't think Moonie could stand a chance while this is happening. History has shown us that you don't put another lesser known masked crime fighting vigilante when Batman is sizzling because it will fail.
Think about it. This goes all the way back to the Batman Adam West show. The show was a hit. Then came The Green Hornet show, which was actually pretty good and had a more serious tone than the Batman show, but it didn't last long.
Fastforeward to the early and mid 90's, the Batman franchise is going strong. Both The Shadow and The Phantom hit the screens around this time(both were certainly better than the Schumacher Bat films) and tank.
The only exceptions would be Darkman, The Crow, and Spawn(to a point). Darkman and The Crow were concepts with a very different take, and Spawn, well, ...everything looks like Citizen Kane when compared to Batman & Robin.
So yeah, Moonie should wait until the water clears. But hey, I have been wrong before.....
