You see I'm not opposed to this either. But one would imagine, a guy like that wouldn't last very long, and the Avengers would just kick him to the curb. Or this.

That being said, I wouldn't mind seeing Marvel tackle this romance onscreen. It would drive audiences insane

I'm cool with them kicking him out too. I love that scene during the Civil War storyline where Cap goes to Moon Knight and just flat out tells him to stay the hell out of all of it. He doesn't want him on either side.

I love anytime the Marvel Universe acknowledge how ****ing crazy MK is. Same as one the villains pucker up when the Punisher kicks in their door. They deviate from the punching/kicking brawl and repeat style of other heroes.

Yeah, but in the same conversation Cap tells Moon Knight he won't ever have Moon Knight serve under him or some such. Either way, I like stuff like that.

Meh. The Civil War comic storyline sucked. I'm glad Moon Knight had nothing to do with it.

Also, lo and behold, Cap asked Moon Knight to join his Secret Avengers a short time later.

Yeah he definitely should operate on the fringe, and if he meets other heroes, he should make them uneasy. Because while we might know there could be some truth to Moon Knight's stories, other heroes should find him insane and a lunatic.

I feel though even the movie Avengers would not want a guy like this on their team.

Good point. This incarnation wouldn't have him.

It'll be curious how they handle Moon Knight's crazy. He's clearly ****ing nuts, but he's not cackling Joker crazy either. I really hope they get him on screen soon.

You mean psychotic. He's not a psychopath. Certain villains are psychopaths.
Killgrave, Bullseye, Carnage, Surtur, Doctor Octopus, Stryfe, Nightmare, Crossbones, Shuma Gorath, Sabretooth, Galactus, etc.

Psychotic = seeing and hearing things which aren't there.

Psychopathic = inability to feel empathy for others.

Don't confuse the two.

For me I like the design. The psychological aspects are really appealing to me as well. I like that he's a super hero with a mental illness. Moon Knight is nuts.

I also came into Moon Knight through Charlie Huston run that came out around 2007. That was an amazing bunch of comics and I highly recommend them to anyone looking to get into Moon Knight.

I've always liked the design. As a Jewish kid, I also like that he's Jewish and son of a rabbi.

Besides that, I like that they play around with the identity issue. To me, he's sort of like a mash-up between Batman and Christopher Chance from Human Target. So it's like with Moon Knight, you have a Batman sort of archetype. But what if Batman was slightly more unhinged?

Like when I think of classic, iconic Batman, I don't think psychopath. Yeah Batman certainly has issues dealing with a childhood trauma, but I always think of Batman as a really well put together straight arrow guys. He's always in control. He always knows what to do. With Moon Knight, it's like you have a Batman-type vigilante, but he's more unpredictable. He's borderline schizophrenic if not completely schizophrenic. You don't know if the whole Khonshu thing is real or if it's just some wild scenario he's fabricated in his head.

IMHO, if there was a TV series, it should always keep you guessing if what's happening is real or if it's all being made up in his head. Like it should mess with your head . Like give the audience a bit of a feeling of someone who is suffering from personality or mental disorders

Also does Moon Knight really have a massive fandom behind him? I'm not sure I would say he does. I think he definitely has his share of fans and a niche fanbase at least. I would say he's less popular than Daredevil. It's just when I think massive fandom, I think Deadpool. Even before he got a movie, Deadpool's fanbase had grown rather large.

I just don't see Feige being too eager to use Moon Knight due to all his trippy character background stuff. Moon Knight was always more of a lower level hero.

Plus, chances are Feige will have a much deeper and more popular collection of characters to work with soon anyway.

I just can't see the Avengers tolerating Moon Knight. I mean after a while, they were ready to dump him, and he did the whole "You can't fire me. I quit" thing anyway.

Marvel will not do anything new with Netflix moving forward, so the 13 episode Netflix model does not need to apply. With the purchase of FX, I would love it if future Marvel properties went through Landgraf, essentially neutering Loeb, who lacks vision and overall competency. Too many mistakes have made it to air on his watch.
