I hope they get someone way better for Shang Tsung. Not someone so weak looking like in the web series. Tagawa was just too awesome in the role.

Well yeah Raiden/T'Sung&Liu Kang,Sonya was alright and Kitana was hot But was obvious the actress didn't show martial arts,Kano was cool,I was mixed on Johnny Cage cause I liked him But as a teen I was just excited that Brandon Lee was going to get the role But he died!!!

Yeah, I thought they pretty much nailed it with everyone in the first Movie. Except Sonya. Just didn't feel her.

I still think the Movie holds up and is overall one of the better game to Movie adaptations. It's not brilliant, but it's not outright horrible either. IMO it's simply a good martial arts Movie.

It hasn't aged well cause of some of the CGI But the movie itself is still great to me and Goro's animatronics still impresses me,I watch it every now&then,I also agree it's still one of the best VG adaptions and for all the flaws annihilation has..I think even that one is better than many VG adaptions!!!

Annihilation? Really? That's only good for watching the fights and even they are horribly fake choreographed.

I think Annihilation is one of the worst movies ever made, but it's in the so-bad-it's-good category. It's right up there with Batman & Robin for me where I always watch it just so I can laugh at it and make jokes about how bad it is all the way through.

Thats how the new MK films should be like if they ever get made. Good old school style fighting films.

Far as Scorpion/Sub-Zero you could probably find some decent martial artists unless they are gonna get some speaking time or a huge part of the story?

I say get actors who can act and have them take fighting lessons. Some action movie actors can fight aswell as act. I can see Dwayne Johnson as Shoa Kahn, he is a better actor than Nathan Jones and Vin Diesel plus more badass. Tom Hardy seems to big to be in a MK film now, maybe if film was made years ago.
