Venom's being owned by the Joker, even with the Joker already having his own movie.

The Joker is the greatest comic book villian EVER.

Venom is the most over-hyped semi-villian ever. I mean, he's cool looking......but what has he ever done to be impactful on Spider-Man?

The Joker? The mother****ing Joker? The gangsta is on a whole different level. So, hands down.....the Joker.

And, not just b/c he'd be cool to see.....but it'd be nice to have the real Joker done in the way he should be done, as a real threat.

This thread should be Marvel Vs DC, Fan's of the respective characters will automatically vote for them, unfair thread! Should be for people who aren't fans only, or neutrals!

Exactly. It's not necessarily Marvel vs. DC, and this is the Films forum, so it's not just Batman or Spider-man fans that are voting.

This is about who you are more hyped to see. I spend most of my time in the Spidey forums, but I'm still more hyped for the Clown Prince than I am for Venom.

It's been said that Topher will be in makeup for some shots. But it's safe to say that the majority of his screentime, he will be CGI rendered. Obviously for all the action, which is pretty much what he's there for.

Personally I think both villains are destined to be crap. Heath Ledger is not Joker material IMO. Fine actor, but hes always played laid back, quiet dudes. And Topher grace as Eddie Brock is a joke, and the little ive seen of Venom so far has been disappointing. But I have more faith in Nolan than I do Raimi.
