It had this great concept but just didn't do anything with it. It was just kinda pointless, really. Fassbender's performance was great though.

I blame Lindelof. He likes answering ultimate questions with more questions.

Went with Indy. Outside of Indy there was nothing I liked in that movie.

The Lost world was great, don't know why it's on the list

TLW has gotten this reputation in the last few years. Its certainly weaker than JP, but I'll never understand why some people think the third film is better. I love TLW though.

I found all three to be good.

I'm an odd fellow I tend to like 90% of movies I watch

I liked TLW. I even saw it twice in the theaters.

I voted for The Franchise Menace. I had been waiting for a new Star Wars movie since 1983, and what I got was this 2.5 hour snoozefest. The only redeemable part in the whole film was a totally kick-ass lightsaber duel near the end. Of course, the rest of the movie was so f**king boring most of the audience was fast asleep by the time we actually get to see Darth Maul in action.

Also . . . Jar-Jar.

Everyone likes Darth Maul but I don't know... I think to be an effective central villain, you need to have some friggin' lines. Yeah, Ray Park looked cool and was a kickass fighter, but Darth Vader is arguably the greatest cinematic villain of all time is because of the whole package. He looks cool, he kicks ass, and he delivers some epic speeches.

Then again, with the way George Lucas writes dialogue (especially in the SW prequels) maybe it's better that Darth Maul barely spoke.

Just imagine Darth Maul speaking like Jar-Jar Binks and be happy it didn't happen.

Didn't Lucas once say "Jar Jar is the key to all this"?

After all, it was Lucas who suggested to LucasArts they name their Sith Lord either Darth Icky or Darth Insanius.

"He's no good to me dead."
"What if he doesn't survive? He's worth a lot to me!"

Part of Fett's appeal is that his character (and its appearance) is modeled on The Man With No Name from The Good, the Bad, the Ugly.

Boba Fett also doesn't have any lines but everyone likes him.

Yeah, that's one that always leaves me scratching my head. He doesn't even DO anything. Yet he's like the second most popular character in the entire series.

Which is another reason why I voted for The Franchise Menace as the most disappointing movie. They had this awesome looking villain being played by a kickass fighter, and he was WAY underused.

The Lost World. I was a kid. Jurassic Park seemed like the best movie ever. I thought I was getting more, and I learned my first lesson about sequel expectations.

The Phantom Menace was similar.

I would say X3 was disappointing, but I knew going in that it was going to be a mess after Brett Ratner was hired last minute. So, it turned out about on par with my expectations.

I actually like Spider-Man 3. It is a mess, but it at least has a soul, which is more than I can say for the last two Spidey movies to hit theaters.

Darth Maul wasn't really a villain. He was the "dragon".

Maul should've been in all of the prequels. Have him kill Qui Gon in the first one, have an epic fight with Obi Wan, and then escape. Make him a dark cloud hanging over Obi Wan and later Anakin.
