it sounds like novermber rain is just a negative nancy, to even consider full metal jacket a disapointment he clearly wasn't watching the same film as everyone else

i don't like films that are hyped up to the match and just dont cut it...

No, you must be easily disappointed. Some of those films on your list are considered some of the best of ALL TIME.

Why don't you provide some context and list some of your favorite movies?

people, it's called the shock factor, it's a form of attention seeking, 'hey look a thread dedicated to negativity, this is my chance to shock people with real negativity, look everyone's listing obviously poor movies, people will question if I state some of the best movies ever made as disapointing'...

no offence :oldrazz:

The Hulk was the most dissapointing movie to me. It didn't suck but it wasn't what it could have been :csad:

I always saw van helsing as a big disapointment, it had so much going for it, good director, good cast, great characters, good setting, I have no idea how this could fail

the majority of those films were watched by myself after either much fan based or pressed based acclaim, and they have all left me somewhat empty about what all the fuss is about.

and meet joe black filled your body with a sense of worth?

I'd have to say T3.

Cmon folks, Movies were never supposed to more to community action, good moives are flukes-needles in haystacks. The nature of entertainment is futile and fleeting.

So....I liked T3. It was a servicable movie - it tied up a story that was started 20 years preceeding, and JUDGEMENT DAY HAPPENED ANYWAY- that was as good a turn for robots from the future as it gets.

Okay Nike Stahl (Jerry SHTALLLL..Jerry SHTALL) is kind of a wack actor, and Claire Danies is so/so, not bad actors.

And the female Terminator..cmon.

Sure it wasn't T2, when you have a sequel that's bigger than the original in terms of sucess and and noteriaty I thought 3 was just as good as the first-IT'S NOT THE CLASSIC THAT THE ORIGINAL WAS, but it was inventive and the reach truck scene through the city was epic. I liked T3.

it doesn't disappoint, besides it has some killer scores on its soundtrack.

YES, I have to get my weight up, but I saw that Dever pony-and it just threw me in a fit. Coming from your 5-0 INDIANPOLIS COLTS.

I'm sure your familiar w/ our team. I think were 3-1 in the annual NFL 'Stallion Bowl'

Hey, we had to get over our own Indianapolis Colts, in the form of Mr. Tom Brady.

Good luck w/ Jake Fake.

5-0

whatever trent, i didn't scrutinise anyone else's choices, it makes no difference if you scrutinise mine if that's what makes you warm and fuzzy inside

:)

its more a sense of curiosity and doubt that you can easily regard some of the greatest pieces of cinema as disapointments and classify such utter tripe as meet joe black as anything other than disapointing....oooo your right, I felt all tingly inside

POTC 2 without a doubt. Loved the first movie, and since the trailer I knew that the sequel was just going to be a way to scam money off people. Wow, turns out I was right. Reviews were horrible, granted the reviews weren't that hot for the first film either- but the sequel's reviews ouch...

X3 has grown on me. POTC2, in my opinion, is a sunken ship.

For me there are two: "Conan The Barbarian" (the first one) and "Superman II". Man was I disappointed on both counts. "Conan" was just terrible. Arnold was all wrong, the script stunk with the story so far from Robert E. Howard's vision as to make the character unrecognizable. Just terrible. "Superman II" was atrocious. In retrosepct I can understand why, knowing now what I know about the Donner firing/Lester hiring. The flying effects were done "one the cheap", Ken Thorne's music a watered down version of Williams' score andthose scenes with the 3 villians laughable and unconvincing. After the first scene at the Eiffel Tower it was all downhill. I couldn't wait to get out of the theatres while watching these dogs.

Some of those movies are good, but very few I would list as favorite, and some I wouldn't even consider at all, such as the insomnia-curing Meet Joe Black or the plain awful and overrated Last Samurai. A lot of those movies are merely mediocre films, nothing even close to the classics you listed as being disappointing.

And Poetic Justice??

it's has a nostalgic relevant value to a point in my life.

I'm not here to defend any of them, i'm not bothered if other people don't like them. I was merely ask to list and hence i did.

:)

SW:EI, that was the worst SW movie and one of the biggest disappointments for me.

Phantom Menace was a lot better than Attack of The Clones. Attack of the Clones was a horrible mess. At least I can actually watch Phantom Menace.

The only correct answer to this is THE PHANTOM MENACE.
In 50 thousand years organic computer creatures will still be trying to wrap their heads around how a film could possibly be so disappointing without ripping space/time.

The Last Stand. Not the worst movie on this list by far, but easily the most disappointing.
