Most Entertaining RT Review Embargo Lifts

I was actually rooting for Fant4stic, after that first trailer came out and it actually looked like a cool, competently made movie, I wanted it to do well. But when the reviews came in, I didn't exactly feel hurt by it either, it just was really really funny. And all of the fans we cheering at its demise. Its something unlike I've ever seen before.

I'm curious, has anyone been around here long enough for the Catwoman (2005) embargo?

Heh, yeah I was the same way with FantFourStic. I never cared much for the F4 to be honest and the first trailer actually made it look pretty good. But then the reviews hit, and then you had the Trank Tweet and and all that. I spent the weekend laughing my ass off over the whole thing.

And yeah, I was around here under a different name for Catwoman (or CINO as it was often called). The Catwoman board was so much fun because everyone except for like three people was convinced the movie was going to be awful and we were 100% right. Even the movie's defenders changed their tune once it came out, if I remember correctly.

The funniest thing from back then (that I can remember) was when this one guy (who was convinced Catwoman was going to be some sort of a masterpiece) actually started a thread about potential awards it might win, like Oscars and Golden Globes and such. We all had a field day with that thread.

I also started a thread where we created plot outlines for other superhero films if they were to be helmed by (Catwoman director) Pitof. For example, Pitof's Batman would be about a chiropterologist who gets eaten by a giant bat in India and then comes back to life as half man/half bat. Fun times.
