Well, it's a new year. Apart from all the new films coming out in 2013, let's take some time to reminisce about the past.

The following films turn 10 in 2013:
The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King
Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl
Finding Nemo
X2: X-Men United
The Matrix sequels (Reloaded and Revolutions)

The following films turn 20 in 2013:
Jurassic Park
Schindler's List
Philadelphia
The Fugitive
Mrs. Doubtfire
Army of Darkness
Groundhog Day

The following films turn 25 in 2013:
Die Hard
Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
Rain Man
Big
Beetlejuice
The Land Before Time

The following films turn 30 in 2013:
Return of the Jedi
Risky Business
Octopussy
National Lampoon's Vacation
Terms of Endearment
Scarface

It seems like only yesterday that I saw those 2003 releases in theaters. Has it really been nearly a decade? Where does the time go? :wow:

I saw Return of the King and Pirates of the Caribbean in theaters ten years ago.

My God.

Terminator 3 also turns 10 years old this year. I'm gonna celebrate by watching it and laughing at all of its flaws.

I'd love to see a 25th anniversary theatrical re-release of Die Hard (NOT IN 3D PLEASE). Never seen that one in theaters at all, and it's one of my favorites.

Just for the heck of it, Movies Turning 50 in 2013:

The Birds
8 1/2
The Pink Panther
From Russia With Love
Cleopatra
Charade
The Great Escape
Bye Bye Birdie
The Nutty Professor
The Sword in the Stone

Bloody hell I feel old.

Also, Bloodsport and Above the Law are turning 25. Bruce Willis, Jean-Claude Van Damme and Steven Seagal will have been at this for 25 years now.

This thread makes me feel old. :(

For those saying they are feeling old....I got to see the bolded ones at the theater on their first run......

I saw Return of the Jedi on opening day...

My God.

To be fair, it won't really be ten years since ROTK until the end of this year, but yeah...

Jesus Christ, just looking at the "ten years ago" make me feel old. :(

Jk... somewhat... (24 and complaining about being old, maybe an onset of quarter-life lol)
