Best Superhero Movie of 2013 (out of the 5 released)?

With the release of Thor: The Dark World, all the 5 superhero films scheduled for release in 2013 have now released and it is time to rank them!

Ok so I'd go

1. The Wolverine
2. Thor: The Dark World
3. Man Of Steel
4. Iron Man 3
N/S Kick-Ass 2

I found all of them disappointing to varying degrees. So The Wolverine wins out because it had the least amount of problems. Iron Man 3 is last because I found it unbearable.

As many issues as I have with MOS, I still think it was the best Superhero movie of the year.

For me it goes:

I have liked all of the films this year, but The Last Son gets my vote. Even with its flaws, MoS is one of my all time favorites.

I genuinely thought Man Of Steel was one of the worst films of the year, it wasn't for me.

Thor: The Dark World was my favourite, purely because I enjoy the characters and I love myself a good fantasy, swords and sorcery film.

I haven't seen Wolverine or Kick-Ass 2 yet. Of the other three, I'd say Man of Steel.

Even though MOS had its issues i saw it 3 times. Each time it got better. Thor surprised me a very well made film ( the directer is making the new Terminator film) The Wolverine hmm it was a personal film but lacked something . The 3rd act let it down but easily better than that pos origins. Kick ass was a dissapointment considering how the first one was made the quality of filmaking between the two is very apparent. Last but not least Iron Man just couldnt get into that film . The most obvious complaint is Mandarin (oorr- la orr laa orr laa or laa) just wasn't expecting that twist it just took the seriousness out of the movie and the 3rd act was just shocking.

I feel like this was a very good year for superhero movies. The only one that I didn't really like was Iron Man 3, but I'm one of those fans that whined about the twist so it wasn't a terrible movie or anything. I really, really liked Thor 2, so that says something about what a good year it was.

I haven't been able to see KICK ASS 2 yet, so it's out of the equation.

As to the other four.....for best of the year it's a close call between THOR and IM3, with THOR winning out because it is fresher in my mind.

For me they go in this order -

MAN OF STEEL

Something like this thread for the 2014 movies should be interesting because they'll pretty much all be Marvel movies.

A 2015 list would just be a beatdown of Zack Snyder proportions.
