So you're based the entire film on the accents (which by the way came off as genuine rather than stereotypical)? What about the fantastic performances, complex plot and great directing?

haha like i said. agree to disagree. nicholson didnt look crazy and dangerous, he just looked like a senile old man, acted like one too.

as far as 'complex' plot goes, all i remember was a recurrence of one and i mean ONE scene the entire movie. "i think theres a rat in my crew/department" "do you want me to get killed out here... f word f word??"


i wanted to like it, watched it about 2 more times afterwards to try to make myself like it, but its just not good in my opinion.

id have to say the thin red line because of its dissapointing ending . it had:
john travolta, nick stahl , john c reilly , sean penn , nick nolte, jared leto , elias koteus, thomas jane, woody harellson , john cusack , george clooney , adrien brody , and james caviezel .
