I'm kinda confused by why Mr Reese was getting so annoyed at bruce in this scene.

Why does Bruce have a trustfund? I thought he was the owner of Wayne Enterprises now? I feel like I'm missing out on some joke between him and Fox.

Sorry if this is a stupid question. I'm not well versed in the ways of the business world.

It's a joke. But not an in-joke between him and Fox.

Trustfunds are commonly known to be had by lazy, good for nothing, wealthy layabouts who do nothing with their lives but coast off of their parents reputation and their "trustfund".

Considering Bruce Wayne is known as a lazy, good for nothing, wealthy layabout, Mr. Reese brought up the trustfund bit as an illustration of just how useless he believes Bruce Wayne to be as a human being.

Make sense?

Yea, I also always wondered why he was catching an attitude all the time. He was making it look like he was head of Wayne Enterprise and Bruce the employee.

Like dude, relax you're getting paid for this. And mighty handsomely I'm sure!

Um, people who have a lot of pride intheir job and their company and work very hard always get annoyed when the people above them don't share a similar level of pride and dedication.

I really shouldn't have to explain it. It's a pretty generic human emotion.

Reese got pissed off with Bruce the second he saw him asleep in the board meeting with Lau.

On the topic of the boardroom meeting, do you think Bruce was asleep to convey his lazy playboy image, or do you think he was just generally tired from crime fighting?

Personally, I like to think it's a bit of both.

Mostly conveying his lazy playboy image IMO. He was on the ball afterwards in his discussion with Fox to cancel the deal, as he just wanted a closer look at Lau's books.

Well, then you really shouldnt have. My point is that its one thing to get upset with your boss or your immediate supervisors, but dude was getting tight at CEO Bruce Wayne himself! Like really, your embaressed? I think it should be the owner embaressed of the employees not the other way around. But whateverman.... Plus Wayne could buy Laus company 5 times over if he wanted, he can snooz cuz he got Luscious covering his back.

I mean I have pride in my job too but if the owner wants to come in and put up a hamock while we all work and he fans himself to sleep that's his right lol

And BTW, I'm sure Bruce sleeping was partly "Careless, playboy image" and the other just tired from "the events in the parking lot the night before"
