Sequels Multiple Man movie with James Franco announced!

I think they kinda want their own Ant-Man so to speak. Deadpool was almost too wacky.

I hope Fox realizes that when it comes to X-Men and its branches. The mutant teams are more interesting than solo. Of course, there are Wolverine and Deadpool that warrant a solo film but not everybody should get a solo film unless they already perfected their ensemble films and needed to time out and do solo films instead.

That's a pretty crazy choice for a solo, so I"m taking it they have a good idea.

Though I don't wanna hear anymore excuses or evading on why someone like Storm can't have a solo.

Well, the last team up was a flop so they'll be wanting to try anything.

There are so many characters in X-Men that it's pretty odd this is the character they are moving forward with after Deadpool and Logan are the only solos.

If anyone on here would have said Multiple Man should have his own solo before someone like Rogue or Psylocke they would have been laughed at.

Could be used a segue into an X-Factor movie. We know they've had some gestating ideas about the team and this could be the launching pad into it, like DP into X-Force.

But yeah, no excuse for no Storm movie now. With X-23 and now Multiple Man, there is literally no reason not to make one.

I view it as they have a good lead than a good story. This is basically going to be Gambit 2.0.

But they are releasing New Mutants and X-Force? Apocalypse was a bad film. And I doubt if it featured the original cast, it would have "flopped" as well. Bad story + unappealing cast isn't a good combo.

Based from the comics history, the longest running X-Men spin offs are mostly for splinter teams like X-Force, X-Factor, Excalibur, Gen X, New Mutants, Exiles and Alpha Flight. Aside from Wolverine, none of the solo titles have been relaunched again and again with a really long run, I think X-23 and Gambit might be the closest but still, not as successful as those splinter teams. While I don't really consider Deadpool as a X-Men character so I didn't include him.

What I don't get is why make a Madrox movie first to launchpad XFI when they could just do X-Factor movie instead. Multiple Man isn't a big character in general and the failure of this would just kill a XFI film IMO. And there's no other character that I can see that should lead a X-Factor movie other than Madrox.

Any character can work. You just need the right creative team.

well with talk comcast is making play for fox this happening depends on if rights are transferable.otherwise this is dead.

If Catwoman turned out to be as good as Wonder Woman, we could have seen a Storm film featuring Halle Berry as Fox is reactionary to an actor's stardom.

While Alessandra Shipp has no star power at all. Anyway, I am more interested in a X-Men film in which Storm is the star than a Storm solo feature film.

I don't think it's the pitch or concept, Fox is obsessed with star power.

The execs would love it because of Franco being attached, they are that old-fashioned and they have zero knowledge of the comics. They become interested in something because of who is cast to star in it.

This is why we have J-Law more visible as Raven, this is why Channing Tatum is attached to Gambit.

And yet Disney/Marvel can make GoTG with a sentient tree, a talking raccoon and the (at the time) virtually unknown Chris Pratt.

Ensemble is really not a FOX thing. I don't get it. There are so many teams, and they come up with Multiple Man solo movie. Meanwhile, 90% of the A-list characters are being wasted and killed off, and they can't get a team movie right.

This projects makes very clear what was already obvious before, Storm has no value as a character for Fox. A Multiple Man movie is more interesting for them.

Storm will continue her neglected role in the main franchise to be used for power display and pretend they care about diversity.

Storm isn't a wacky character. That's what they're looking for.

I'm fine with this, although I don't think the character has much of a draw.

I'm so in for this movie. Madrox is my favorite mutant thanks to PAD's work during the detective run of X-Factor (and accompanying mini). He's always been my answer to "Which X-Men should get a solo next?"

Their vision for the X-Men isn't right.

As I mentioned before, going by the fact that this idea came out of their Hardy Boys pitch and that they wanted to put Dave and James Franco together in a sleuth movie, I don't think this is solely going to be just a Multiple Man solo movie.

since murdocks are selling to someone still questable if this film will ever be made.but of course that won't stop the moaning.

as old time fan there is no reason to do storm solo since almost all of her time
and stories were in X-men main books.

of course some would rather have her as black panther's love intrest then part of x-men.of course i was always x-men fan first and rest of marvel second to them.

A lot of people are quick to judge and jump down Fox's throats for not giving them the BIG NAME movies, but we don't know what's going on behind the scenes.

Did anyone predict a Multiple Man movie to be in development?! They could have a few things cooking.

I have no doubt there will be other mutants in the movie. The question to me is whether the title will be about the Multiple Man.

yea, its a weird reaction. " A solo movie. That only means 1 character." Clearly they'll be more. The Madox mini that led into X-Factor had Strong Guy, Wolfsbane, and even Bishop briefly.

So this is not even a Fox original idea, someone pitched it to them!
