So we know Snyder is beyond incredible when commissioning trailers. What would be more poignant for you guys? An existing song done by an artist that resonates and relates to the film in someway, random score excerpt from random composer, or a excerpt from Zimmer?

I'd like to see where everyone stands on that. I actually kind of want Snyder to use a relatively well known song that will resonate with us in a way how he used Smashing Pumpkins for Watchmen.

If it's nearly as epic as the Man of Steel score I'm all for using Zimmer. But I would not be opposed to a mainstream song if it is done well. I guess it all depends on what vision he has for the trailer. Based on the trailers for Watchman and Man of Steel, it should be pretty awesome.

"Booty" by Iggy Azalea and Jennifer Lopez should be used in ALL the trailers bruh. :o

Even though it was already used for the second trailer of Watchmen, I think Take a Bow by Muse could fit in a trailer.

You know who we need?

2 CHAINZZZZZ!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was thinking of Hozier - Take Me To Church. Specifically the chorus:

"Take me to church
I'll worship like a dog at the shrine of your lies
I'll tell you my sins so you can sharpen your knife
Offer me my deathless death
Good God, let me give you my life

No Masters or Kings
When the Ritual begins
There is no sweeter innocence than our gentle sin

In the madness and soil of that sad earthly scene
Only then I am Human
Only then I am Clean"

Something with some general thematic relevance. As much as I love it when a trailer uses an epic orchestral cue, I also love me some appropriate "mainstream" song being used.

Even though it was created for one of those hunger games movies, I think this "Everybody Wants To Rule The World" cover by Lorde would've been pretty cool.

That would actually be pretty damn perfect Chip and right up Snyder's alley. :awesome:

Another cover of a famous song I see being ideal for a trailer.

I know it's used in the Arkham City trailer but The Heavy's Short Change Hero could work.

An instrumental version of Get Lucky with no film footage, just Fleck, Cav-El and Gal dancing. At the end show the logo with 2016.

I remember a fan trailer using this and loving the result, maybe a bit dramatic, but I've loved this piece for awhile.

I think it would be powerful if there were no music at all throughout the trailer. Then as the logo appears, play some alien-like sounds along with bat sounds.
