Sabretooth straight up defeated Maverick pretty easily. He put his claws through his chest and then licked the blood off his hand. Made a big hole. Cant remember how Maverick survived but he was thought to be dead untill the Weapon X mini series.

True, Sabretooth nearly killed Maverick.

But when he was upgraded as Agent Zero, North was specifically upgraded to eliminate Wolverine. He emits a corrosive that further injures the body everytime a healing factor tries to kick in.

As Zero, he also emits no smell, and wears a vibranium mesh suit that emits no sound. So Savage is right, Zero can take 'em both out. Zero actually melted Deadpool in an alternate future.

Oh. I missed out on the Weapon X mini series and havent been willing to ditch out the cash for it yet. Is it worth around $35.00?

Probably more. It wasn't a mini-series. It was cancelled. I'm re-reading the issues. There are 28 and there are 5 issues showcasing individual characters. One for Wildchild, Marrow, Kane, Sauron, and Agent Zero. It was a pretty good series. Re-reading it and noticing stuff I missed before. Sabretooth is at his best in this series imo. Woulda made an awesome Fox series.

There was a 5 issue Weapon X mini-series subtitled "Days of Future Now" after the ongoing was cancelled. It was supposed to wrap up the ongoing, but it didn't, and left all the plotlines hanging.

...I always wondered why Sabretooth went from clean cut to savage again, though. That bothered me. I liked clean cut Sabretooth. He was even more badass. Was more than just a physical threat. He was a one scary sadist.

I figured it was a good series becouse Frank Tieri was the writer. In my view his run with Wolverine is the best so far, and Guegenheim is a close second. Too bad hes leaving the book so soon.

Anyway, since Agent Zero is in the movie Im thinking hes going to be like a "mini boss" so to speek. Like what Bullseye was in the Daredevil movie.

And I too loved Tieri's Sabretooth, or as I came to call him, "Crewcut Creed". I liked that Frank wrote Sabes like he used to be, before he became Logan's whipping boy. The one guy Wolvie struggled hard to beat if at all, the guy who knew his tricks. And the uni was awesome too.

Well Sabretooth, Maverick, and Silver Fox are no-brainers, with Deadpool and Lady Deathstryke playing large supporting roles.

But let's have a full-blown Sabretooth this time, not like the one in X-Men. Honestly, that guy looked like Kevin Nash with more hair and fangs.

You've gotta have Deadpool. Seriously, Wolverine's the (indirect) reason he exists. He's also popular enough to warrant a guest appearance.

I won't ask for Omega Red, I think that's too much for one film, coz the movie will most likely just cover his time in Weapon X.
