Since I'm impatient, I will be making customs of several characters from the show in the animated style. :xmen:

Nightcrawler is the first one I'm doing.

Heres a WIP shot of him so far:

I will update this thread with new pics very frequently.

Let me know what you think!

and as always, criticism/feedback/suggestions appreciated.

Good stuff atgscl. Looks like you are on a good start, would love to see more.

Remember that Kurt/Nightcrawler is in his more recent red/black uniform for this show rather than the classic black one with red trim and pointed shoulder tips.

wow, how do you do that?
lol its just combining parts from different figures.

and thanks for the compliments guys!

and theVileone, i know its the new costume. i like it better anyway :oldrazz:

Wow, that was fast. I thought it would takeyou longer. It looks great already. You should post what parts came from what figures and stuff. That'd be cool. Unless its a secret :p

yeah, ill post the recipes for the figures when they are done. Sometimes when im halfway through a figure ill swap some parts out and stuff.

and i will try my very hardest to post one update every single day.

so, todays update is a new figure I started.

Wolverine! :

Off to an interesting start atgscl.

However, I recall that Wolverine's booties in the show are mostly blue with some sort of buckles on them.

The best reference is probably the Astonishing ML Wolverine which I think you got the head from.

I always envy the people that does these. I think it'd be fun to do.

how did you add the claws to that Batman figure?

i know. these pics are of the figures before sculpting is done. After i assemble the figures like i have done to wolvy and kurt so far, i sculpt and then finally paint.

and yeah, the head is the astonishing wolverine one.

I just took arms from a x-men movie wolvy figure and cut them to size and then attached them to the batman body.

so much for the update a day thing huh?:oldrazz:

anyway, i started three more figures:

Right now, I have plans for all of the core X-men that have appeared in the posters.

Wow! Awesome. Are any of them finished yet? And are they all to scale with each other or are you just making individual figures that arent meant to be together?
